The school in the village


provides education till 10th. It
is Tamil medium, and locals
are happy with the
enthusiasm shown by the
teachers to educate
students. Girls are also
educated in the school.
There is a medical center
which does not have doctors.
There is a nurse who is rarely
available. For all health
related issues they have to
travel at least 10 km for the
nearest hospital.

Most of the houses do not


have proper sanitation. Very
few people arent aware and
those aware are finding it
economically difficult to build
a toilet in their homes as the
government provides funds
only after the construction of
the toilet.
Agriculture is the major
source of employment. Those
who are not engaged in
agriculture are seeking
opportunities in nearby major
towns and cities. People who
have acquired higher
education completely
relocate to big cities.
The village is green and
unpolluted. Waste is not
properly disposed.
Wells for drinking water are
not clean
