PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
• Have been in manufacturing for the past 40 years.
• 12 years of experience as an aircraft parts customer returns engineer involving
identification of defects and incorporating changes to tooling, programming, work
instructions and training to satisfy customer concerns.
• Worked with Bell Helicopter, Grumman, Boeing and Sikorsky drawings, specs
and engineers for tool development and problem solving.
• Extensive background in reading and understanding of engineering drawings and
specs.
• Have experience in inspection of aircraft details and reports for shipping to
customer.
• Am familiar with AS9100, Lean Manufacturing and Six S process.
• I have experience in manual machining, tools and die, fixtures, sheet metal, proto
type modeling for aircraft, commercial product, civilian and military applications.
• Experience in all types of hand tools, machine tools and woodworking equipment.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
• Worked as a manual machinist producing jigs, tools and fixtures for producing
detail parts and assemblies for the aircraft industry at Crestview Aerospace.
• Inspected details for conformity to engineering drawings and produced reports to
customer.
• Moved to Quality Assurance Group as a Customer Return Engineer to determine
root cause as to why the product did not comply with engineering requirements.
Implement corrective action to prevent repeats of errors. Worked close with all
departments to coordinate needed changes to inspection, work orders, tooling and
processes for production of aircraft details and assemblies.
• Keeping of records, charts and producing reports for answering the customer’s
rejection of product from Bell Helicopter, Grumman, Boeing and Sikorsky.
• Hired as a machinist at National Elevator Company to produce flanges, heads and
related parts for piston elevators. Organized and standardized construction
techniques for sheet metal elevator walls.
• Owned a small machine shop in the San Diego, Calf area producing machines to
make parts for various companies.
• Worked for companies as a model maker, display manufacturer and proto type
producer.
I am a life member in the VFW, AMVETS and the American Legion, as well as
holding officer positions in the American Legion.
