Installation of Manifold Gauge Set
CAUTION
For R-12 and R-134a, they are use different kinds of
refrigerants and lubricants so that they should not
be mixed each other, even it is small amount.
Therefore, it is necessary to use special service
tools and equipment for service.
If you use the equipments in correctly, the
refrigerants or lubricants of the air-con system may
be contaminated.

manual supplied by the manufacturer before using it.

CAUTION
a. When connecting the service equipment, perform
the work in accordance with the manufacturer's
instructions.
b. Do not breathe the refrigerants or vapors.
c. If the refrigerants are discharged, ventilate the
working area before resuming the service.
1. Per the equipment manufacturer's instructions,
connect the Recovery/Recycling/Charging System
(A) to the high pressure service port (B) and the low
pressure service port (C).
Then, evacuate the refrigerant from the system.

Inspection
Check for the Thermocon
1. Turn on the Air-Con switch to start blower.
2. Start the engine.
3. After connecting the voltmeter to the connector NO.1
and No.3 terminals of the switch, check that there is
any variations on the voltage between the terminals
according to the surface temperature of the
evaporator.
4. If the Thermocon switch is abnormal, remove the
evaporator unit and replace the Thermocon switch.
