The Khafji Field Development Plan (FDP-1) is designed to expand the total liquid handling capacity to
750,000 BLPD in order to sustain Maximum Sustainable Capacity of 300,000 BCD of Khafji Crude with
50% Water Cut. Design & construction of two (2) new Y1-B and Y2-B flow stations, 36" Crude
Oil Transmission Line from Y2-B and 42" Gas Transfer line from Y2-B new Oil & Gas
gathering lines, On-shore Inlet Separator System and Gas Compression, Utility & Processing
Facilities, Flare System, and Buildings. The project also includes installation of three (3) new
Power Distribution Platforms & new integrated well jacket IWJ-5 with a cost of project over SR 2
billion. My contribution in FDP-1 is as follows:

• Dealing with proponent and coordinating with project management team, safety, industrial
security, inspection, contractor site engineers, design engineers, architect, quality control engineers,
and local authorities on resolving various project construction issues.
• Reviewing and commenting material submittals such as Material Approved Request (MAR),
Method Statements (MS), Approved Vendors for Materials requisitions.
• Monitoring the site progress, taking on field technical decisions
• Coordinating Interface Points, Hydrotest and Reinstatement, and update the completion status
to management and take necessary actions to resolve the conflict issues between various contractors
• Reviewing and commenting project quality plan, project inspection & test plan (ITP), quality

project work as per standards.

The Khurais projects Program is (BI-3450) designed to increase the total oil production of Saudi Aramco
by 1,200 MBCD which is the highest production increment of crude under a single program. Increase the
total treated Seawater from the Qurrayah Seawater Treatment Plant by 4,500 MBCD.

• Six 3 storey residential buildings and a contractor building to accommodate 1,014 residents.
• Aviation facilities to include Jet fuel system, Helipad, Airstrip, and a full fledged 24 hour
operational airport to serve the transportation of gas plant personnel.
• An independent sewage treatment plant and lift stations to serve the Haradh Camp and gas plant.
• Industrial facilities to include industrial security building, operation support building, security
main gate and mosque.
• Support services include furniture maintenance shop, substation building, chiller yard, fuel
station, fire truck shelter, and bus shelter.
• Recreational facilities consisting of a community center, swimming pool, gathering tent, tennis
court, soccer field and field track.

a capacity of 2,400 MMSCFD without a shutdown and prepare for further expansion to recover natural
gas liquids (NGL) in the future.

 Perform Quality assessment of Projects by preparing Project Quality Index (PQI).


 Responsible for developing, planning, implementing, and managing of
quality assurance & quality control procedures for sulfur recovery and
utilities package (Hawiyah Gas Plant) under Saudi Aramco LSTK
contract.
 Reviewing and finalizing procedures for approval to commence activity as
per the approved quality assurance & quality control manuals of the sub-
contractors.
 Conducting unannounced quality control inspections on the job site.
Identifying any violations, deficiencies or non-conformance and
prescribing and implementing corrective action taken to meet the required
standards.
 Managing inspection activities with a QA / QC organization team of 74
technical staff including multi discipline inspectors from civil, electrical,
mechanical engineering, welding, piping, refractory, rotary and static
equipment, insulation, instrumentation, and coating engineers.
