Fire/FLASH HOODS

CarbonX inherently non-flammable fabrics provide exceptional heat and flame protection when
safety matters most. Our products withstand direct flame longer than traditional fire resistant/
FR fabrics, without breaking-open, igniting, and minimal charring or shrinkage. Laundering
does not affect the protective properties of our products which are comfortable to wear
providing protection against direct flame, extreme heat, welding & grinding spatter, molten
metal splash and arc flash hazards.

The protective qualities of the knit

after laundering showed no change
in flame resistance or thermal
protection after 50 & 100 wash
cycles.
CarbonX has ability to absorb and
neutralize unpleasant odours, a
considerable
advantage
when
opportunities for washing are
limited.

CARBONX FLASH HOODS

Increase protection levels against 2nd degree burns.
When compared to market leading 2 layer flash hood combinations
CARBONX fabrics are produced using a blend of
fibres shown to withstand extended exposure to
light & UV. This is important for retaining both
colour and physical strength properties of the fabrics.
