stead of being held every day, it was held only on Saturday afternoons.
It operated the same way the Vacation Bible School did - with a song
service, Bible lesson, arts and crafts, and refreshments. The
chil
dren, whose enthusiasm was high from VBS, came eagerly.
However, there was one problem. Many of the children would not come by
themselves. This meant that workers would have to be sent to get them.
With nearly 80 children to be "picked up" many workers were needed.
Willing workers are hard to find. It is extremely difficult to find
someone who is willing to put as much time and effort into this work
that is needed. Some do not understand these "street" children.Others
are ashamed to stop children on the street and invite them to church.
Still others are afraid to face their living conditions, and talk to
the parents.
For the little time and the few workers we have, we are making exce
llent progress. We teach the children many choruses and tell them about God's wonderful
love.
This work has only began, but with your prayers, and more workers
will go farther and farther, and reach many, many more children.

"Dear Aunt Dela. Since mother is writind to you and I would like to write you a few words also. First of all I would like to thank you
for
your help. I was so happy to receive the song books "Heavenly Sunshine"
and "One Song". These song books are a great treasure for me
because
all of the songs are touching our hearts.
Thanks to your songs, our youth became singing youth and came closer to
Christ, it also forces us to stop and to think more seriously about, our
relation to Christ. I want to thank you for "Guidepost" magazines which
are so precious for us. Please send us more of your song books and li
terature you have. Yours, T."

many other workers wrote you about our Youth camps this summer.
We had a musical part and the most important part - teaching the Scriptures.
Half of those who attended were unconverted youth and we thank God
that 33
souls responded to the Gospel invitation. It was wonderful. Your song
book
"One Song" is something unusual, wonderful and great. Our youth begs for it
and most of them received it. We try to distribute the song books in such a
way that there will be a few of them in each congregation. Your chorus book
"Heavenly Sunshine", although it is older, still has the same popularity and
effect as it did in the first days of its appearance. We use them everywhere.
In the first camp under the leadership of George we had over 100 young peo
ple in attendance. The second camp under ray leadership was smaller because
it was harvest time, but many of those who could not attend during the day
time were coming in the evening, and each evening we had great gatherings. We
had Bible dramas and other activities but every day always ended with a evan
gelistic meeting, and after that, because people who came from neighboring
villages did not want to go home, we sang for another hour or two.
On the Lord's day, Aug. 17, we had a baptismal service. We all worked hard
and the Lord blessed us.

It was a shock to all of usj Ito receive a telegram from Poland on October 7th
informing that sister Bajenjsjki, the wife of the faithful minister in Poland
and mother of George Bajenski, former Polish student of Eastern Christian Co-
liege and Lincoln Christian jColiege, now faithfully serving the Lo]^din Poland
but presently visiting Cana<^ and U.S.A., died suddenly.
This past sunaner I spent mairjy hours in her home and enjoyed her wonderful ho

day
she helped someone. Her home| was a "guest house". When after a busy day everybody would go to rest in bed, she would stay in the kitchen and work. She
always was in the Lord's hbijse and took an active part in the service of the
Lord by singing in the choir and participating in other Church activities.
She will never be forgotten|by neighbours and friends across Poland. She will
always live on in our hearts and minds and we thank God for her life.
Our deepest sympathy goes t6 Bro. Bajenski, to George and the rest of the fa
