9A countable and uncountable

Countable nouns are nouns that you can count. They can be
singular or plural.
Uncountable noun are nouns that you cant count. They cant be
singular or plural.
countable nouns
I want a mango.
I want some sausages.
I want three apples.
I dont want a mango.
I dont want any sausages.
Do you want a mango?
Do you want any sausages?

uncountable nouns
I want some coffee.
I dont want any milk.
Do you want any sugar?

Some nouns can be countable or uncountable but the meaning is


different. A potato, some potatoes, some (mashed) potato.

Use quantifiers to say how much or how many of something

Use should/shouldnt to give and ask for advice.
