Security Person should always be available in Security Cabin.


SECURITY display on Security Cabin.
Separate Rack for Empty Cylinders with gas type displayed prominently.
Separate Rack for filled Cylinders with gas type displayed prominently.
Plastic cans containing Acid should be on wooden pallet and should have proper
identification with Caution / sign.
6. ACCEPTED UNDER DEVIATION tag for material accepted under deviation in
Stores / Shop floor.
7. REWORK tag for material to be reworked.
8. REJECTED tag for material that has been rejected.
9. SCRAP AREA tag for material that has been scrapped and has to be disposed.
10. Keep disposable scrap on racks in SCRAP AREA
11. Keep reusable scrap on racks in REUSABLE MATERIAL AREA
12. If raw material comes and same is pending inspection then the same has to be
identified with AWAITING INSPECTION tag and kept separately.
13. All Accepted raw material to be kept in racks properly identified.
14. Consumables used in shop floor must be kept in racks near the respective
machine.
15. All tools to be kept properly in Toolbox after usage.
16. Delicate material such as SS /Al should be stocked separately and properly
identified.
17. Stocks of raw material lying in Stores, in shopfloor and in Reusable material area
should be assessed and monitored daily while ordering fresh material to prevent
Duplication of purchase.
18. The entire Stores area should be cleaned and all racks properly organized.
19. The area behind Stores should be used as reusable material area and all material
there should be properly organized in racks and properly identified.
20. The area near the Water tank can be used as SCRAP AREA.
All material while being disposed should be outwarded vide scrap memo.
21. All measuring instruments should be used with care, kept in packing after use and
returned to Stores. The instruments should be kept in Stores properly.
22. All machines / fire extinguishers should be cleaned and numbered by red /black
paint.
23. Tube light, fans, Cobwebs on roof should be cleaned
24. Finished product ready for dispatch should have stamped plate / tag mentioning
customer name, item name, item quantity.
25. Work orders with drawings of ongoing orders should be available with Prodn I/C.
26. White board maintained in Office /Stores for production planning should be
updated.
27. Floor marking in Stores and shop floor.

28. Loose wiring, if any should be repaired.


29. Floor marking in Stores, shop floor.
30. The shop floor should have identification of work areas such as:
CUTTING SECTION, DRILLING SECTION, GRINDING SECTION,
TURNING SECTION, FINNING SECTION, WELDING SECTION,
HYDRAULIC TESTING SECTION, PNEUMATIC TESTING SECTION.
31. Customer returned material should be properly identified to prevent mix-up with
other material.
32. Job-work material to be sent for job-work to be properly identified mentioning
Supplier name /Job-work challan reference
33. The electrical panels should be cleaned and welding should be carried out far
away from the same.
34. The entire shop-floor area should be cleaned and metallic bins kept at appropriate
.locations to keep metal scrap. The accepted material should be kept on wooden
pallets.
