Sentries   that   transmit   real-‐Ime   condiIons   to   a   Flame
Sniffer™  Controller.
•  Sensor  ImplementaIon:  Flame  Sniffer™  Sentries  use  4
sensors  to  detect  ember  and  wildfire  aGacks:
–  IonizaIon  Smoke  Sensor
–  Photo  Electric  Smoke  Sensor
–  Infrared  Heat  Sensor
–  NaIonal  Semiconductor  lm26-‐cim5  ic  Thermostat
•  Transmission  Cycle:  Every  5  minutes  each  Sentry  scans
it’s  sensors  and  transmits  their  status  along  with  a  test
signal  to  the  Flame  Sniffer™  Controller.
•  Alert  NoIficaIon:  If  any  sensor  is  acIvated  an  alert  is
transmiGed  immediately  to  the  Controller  which  sends
a  message  to  the  Flame  Sniffer™  server.
•  Error  Management:    If  any  sensor  does  not  transmit  it’s
test   code   in   7   minutes,   the   Sentry   will   send   a   failure
signal  to  the  Controller.
