Just as the tennis courts have found a place on
Maryland Avenue, another athletic playing field
is gearing up to take root on the opposite side
of campus. On the corner of Sprunt and Broad
streets, the track and soccer field is in its building
stages, promising NCSSM athletes yet another
chance to hold games on their own turf. Funded
by the NCSSM Foundation, the new lighted track
and soccer field should be ready to run by the
