M1: Good Morning everyone! Today in this video we will show you how to
crimp your own network cable and this video we will also introduce 3 kinds
of cable and its uses.
M2: So first thing that we will do is to crimp your very own Ethernet cable.
First off you need to prepare all the things you will need.
M1: what we have here is a crimping tool, Ethernet cable, an RJ45, wire
cutter, stripper or pliers, and an Ethernet cable tester(if you have one)
M2: First step is to determine how long you want your cable to be after that
use wire stripper to cut the plastic sheath about an inch in length.
M1: after doing that make sure that no colored wires were cut, if none,
untwist the cords then arrange them in order (OW-O-GW-B-BW-G-BW-B).
M2: cut off the excess wire using the cutting section of the crimping tool,
make sure to double check the arrangement of the colored wires. It is really
important to do so otherwise the cable wont work if the order is wrong.
When inserting the colored wires to the RJ45 you will see that each one fit
into little plastic channel. Push as far as possible, notice that the copper is
reaching the end.
M1: if everything is all set we can now proceed to crimping. The crimping
tool pushes down in two places securing the wires tightly.
M2: the pins also get pushed down piercing the colored wires making the
proper connection. And now you have your very own Ethernet cable all
thats left do is to test it. An inexpensive cable tester does this quite well.

PAT L: Good Morning! Welcome to Learning with Escuro! Today we have invited two guests that are specialized in
computer cabling. Let's welcome, Mr. Ryan Labung and Ms. Sher Mallari!
PAT L: We have invited you guys because we know that the both of you are specialized in cabling and we know that you
want to introduce something about cables.

PAT L : GOOD MORNING MR RYAN AND MIS SHER!

RYAN: GOOD MORNIGN TOO! THANK YOU FOR INVITING US

PATL: YOURE WELCOME. WE WANTED YOU HUYS BECAUSE WE KNOW THAT BOTH OF YOU ARE GREAT WHEN
IT COMES TO CABLING

SHER: TWISTED PAIR IS A TYPE OF COPPER CABLING THAT IS USED FOR TELEPHONE COMMUNICATIONS AND
MOST ETHERNET NEWORK

RYAN: Utp is a type of cable that has two or four pairs if wires. This type of cable solely on the cancellation effect produced
by the twisted wire that limits signal degradation caused by emi or rf

PAT L: OH, WOW, THATS TOO MUCH INFORMATION AND WHATS THE SECOND?

SHER: THE SHIELDED TWISTED PAIR. EACH PAIR OF WIRE IS WRAPPED IN A METALLIC FOIL

RYAN: THE SECOND TYPE OF COMMON NETWORK CABLE IS THE COAXIAL CABLE.
SHER: [INSERT EXPLANATION]

PAT L: IS THER MORE?

SHER: YES, THERE IS ONE MORE LEFT WHICH IS THE FIBER OPTIC

RYAN: Fiber optic cable has one or more optical fbers enclosed in a sheath or jacket. Because it is made of glass, it is not
affected by emi or rf

PAT L: OH, SO THERE ARE 3 COMMON NETWIRK CABLE?

RYAN: YES

SHER: AND FOR FURTHER EXPLANATION, WEVE PREPARED A TUTUORIAL VIDEO ON HOW TO CREATE YOUR
VERY OWN ETHERNET CABLE

PATL: Alright! Roll VTR!

That's a lot of information to know. Are there more? (Pakilawe din ini eku sure ketang are there more eh?
Alright! Roll VTR!
