Section A: Basic descriptive information <include details about teacher, grade level, details about
students>
This is 12th grade and English is their first language. Some of the students are late. They have
to give explanation for this reason and teacher doesnt allow taking their seats till the other students
finish their reading exercise. Some of these students dont like this idea, but the teacher is strict in her
decision.

Opening
Teacher is giving sheet with exercise. This sheet
includes text, question about the text and exercise.

Teaching and learning activities


Teacher explains some unfamiliar words and talk
about the text.
Next she gives them exercise with multiple choices
and gives explanation about the answers.
Later they have to write few sentences based on
the text and have to read it aloud. .

Analysis, Evaluation, Recommendation

In my opinion, this is a good start because it


makes all the students feel the working
atmosphere and become active as soon as
possible and in that way the efficiency of the
class would be improved.
The reading practice improves pronunciation as
well as helps students learn new words and I
think that by encouraging students to provide
synonyms the word is learned easier.

Section C: Overall ratings of the lesson <include summaries of the objectives and contents of the
lesson>
The lesson starts with the teacher asking to read a text from their books Playing with your
food Teacher is giving sheet with exercise. This sheet includes text, question about the text and
exercise.
Teacher spends one to two minutes just to tell them what they are supposed to do. Teacher
explains some unfamiliar words and talk about the text.
Next she gives them exercise with multiple choices which are again connected to the text.
Students work individually, they are ready after a couple of minutes and they are asked to read the
answers one by one. They have to explain why they choose answer A or B.
Later they have to write few sentences also based on the text Do you want to attend the Vienna
Vegetables Orchestra have few minutes to finish and volunteers read it aloud. .
Last task is to write portfolio on which they should imagine to attend a concert by the Vienna
Vegetables Orchestra and to complete an email for their English pen-friend where they will talk about
their experience.
Section D: Overall assessment of the quality of the lesson <is this a good lesson, why?>
I believe that this is a very good lesson since the teacher made almost all of the students work, at least
a little bit, but having in mind that this is 12th grade Also, the points made during this lesson are very
useful for the students. They all share different opinions and the target is to find the common
conclusion.
Section E: Recommendation <how can the efficacy of the lesson be improved?>
Today they did a lot of exercises so I dont have any objection.
