1. Introduce your family.

There are three people in my family: my mother, my brother and I. My

mother is a hard worker and cheerful person. She is also good at singing. My
brother is funny and kind. He likes playing video-games. I am a junior highschool student and I love music and English.

2. What do you think about living abroad?

I think it is a very good experience. The idea of knowing new cultures

and languages sounds exciting to me. I would appreciate living abroad
someday.

3. What do you want to do in the class of Barrat University, Australia?

Besides learning English, Id like to learn about the culture and

traditions of Australian people as well.

4. Konan High School has sister schools in Virginia and Bangkok. When
their students come to Japan, what do you want to do with them?

I would like to talk with them about subjects like hobbies, daily life,
music, food and so on. I believe I will enjoy it very much.

5. What English qualifications do you have?

I am able to read, write and have conversations in English about daily

life. Technical subjects and advanced vocabulary are still hard for me.
Last year I took part in the Eigo Kentei, a traditional English
assessment test in Japan, reaching the level 3.

6. Which English event are you interested in: Halloween, Christmas or

Easter?

I am a Christian so Im interested in Christmas, because I believe that's

important to remember the birth of Christ.

I want to use the English language for traveling abroad, for studying
and possibly at work. Id like to do some job that requires the use of English,
as interpreter, for example.

The name of my schools ALT is Mackenzie. She is from Toronto,

Canada. Shes so friendly that her attitude encourages many students to try
talking to her in English.

I want to become an interpreter, who can speak many languages as

Japanese, English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. I also dream about
entering Konan high-school and improving my English.

10. What did you learn through club activities?

In fact, I have learned many things. Some of the most important were:
how to manage my free time; the importance of cleaning up the places after
using them; and the most important to me, Ive learned to play the trumpet
and to make classical music with other band members. It was very difficult,
but it was worth it.

11. What differences can you tell between English course and Regular
course?

The English course has more English classes than the Regular course.
Therefore we study more time and learn faster. Another difference is the
reduced number of students per class, improving the general quality of the
lessons. At Konan high-school there is a possibility of studying English in
Australia for the students of the second grade.

12. Why do you want to enter in this school?

Because Konan high-school is the only school in Shizuoka which has

English course. I am interested in joining the classes of Barrat University. Id
like to learn technical subjects and advanced vocabulary at this school.

13. What is the best memory of your Junior high-school?

It was the culture festival. On that day I did a lot of things. I played the
piano in the chorus concert. I also played Orange by Greeeen in the
keyboard along with other band members. I have made an English speech
too.
Those things were very hard to do in just one day, but they were very
exciting.
