modern world, we exposed in a high technologys. The web is the fastest way to connect to each
other.
Online sales system is a form of electronic commerce which allows consumers to directly
buy ornamental plants, or services from a seller over the internet using a web browser.
Importantly its the easiest way on contacting the owner.
Nowadays, Technology is widely spreading throughout the world. Most of the countries
use Technology to speed up works and saves time. It also helps in organizing important
documents. As Technology organizes, it also preserves the documents. Technology can also
become a medium for communication to have an easy way of accessing and manipulating of
data.
Philippines are one of the countries that use Technology. Usually, it is used in business.
Every agricultural business needs to itemize their products to have an organized online ordering.
Some agricultural business process of itemizing of products is done manually. Manual recording
of the products slows down the business. If a computerized with online system is applied.

In today's business environment, even small and mid-sized businesses have come to rely
on computerized online ordering systems. Certainly, there are plenty of small retail outlets,
manufacturers, and other businesses that continue to rely on manual means of ordering, Indeed,
for some small businesses, like convenience stores, shoe stores, or nurseries, But for other firms
operating in industries that feature high volume turnover of raw materials and/or finished
products.
Businesses establishments like Alanys Garden are innovating with this business proposal
process into online ordering the transaction and making edge to other business competencies.
The system is task to facilitate human works with much accuracy and speed with the
development of the Alanys Garden. The Online Ordering system will give user more flexibility
to do their business. Online Ordering system is an integrated package of software used in houseware operations to monitor the quantity, location, and status of the business.

Company Profile
The Alanys Garden is one, of the most outstanding business, because of their
achievements. We have branches in Cabagan and Roxas.
The name Alanys is from a baby name alanys jaylen, sibling of their child Ferlen Tan.
She is the youngest girl in their family. It began when Mrs. Elenita Tan went to a flower shop,
and she began to like the idea of landscaping. Her first project is their backyard, then a neighbor
like how she landscape then neighbor to neighbor, friends to friends, kapitan to councilor,
mayor to mayor, congresswoman to congressman, Alanys Garden became popular to Ilagan City,
Cabagan, Roxas, San Mariano, Gamu, etc.

To establish a good rapport to customers at all times, to achieve the expectation of the
customers in rendering a satisfying service.
To educate customers on the proper way of taking good care of the plants and the benefits
we get from it.
Mission
To be a competitive gardener or landscape artist, to adopt the modern way of propagating

Purpose and Description

The primary purpose of the proposed system at Alanys Garden is to provide immediate
access on their available products and stocks.

Objective of the Study

GENERAL OBJECTIVE:
This study aims to improve and develop an Online Ordering of Alanys Ornamental
Plants.

SCOPE AND DELIMITATION OF THE STUDY

The researchers aim to develop an electronic-based ordering for Alanys since they are
still using a manual system in their transactions, payments and even in generating reports. The
system will consist of some significant modules in order to satisfy the companys needs as well
as the customers.
The system will provide a security module which will have three level of access such as
Administrators, Members and Guests. Administrator is fully responsible for monitoring and
maintaining the website since they have access on some modules which are hidden on guests and
even members such as Product Management, Sales and Inventory, Reports, Order Management
and others. At first, the system will only have one (1) administrator who has the authority to add
or update the products. This form will need some information of the personnel such as full name,
contact number, username, and password. The payment is personally given to the Manager.

DEFINITION OF TERMS

The researchers had defined some words that may encounter in the research study.
Accessibility. A general term used to describe the degree to which a product, device, service, or
environment is accessible by as many people as possible.
Administrator. A person responsible for running technically advanced information systems.
Client. Users that are login inside the system
Database. A systematized collection of data that can be accessed immediately and manipulated
by a data-processing system for a specific purpose.
Efficiency. The ratio of useful work to resources (processor and storage) expended.

E-commerce. Refers to the process of marketing, buying and selling of products and services
online.
Functionality. The capacity of a computer program or application to provide a useful function.
Robustness. The ability of a computer system to cope with errors during execution or the ability
of an algorithm to continue to operate despite abnormalities in input, calculations, etc.
Security. Its objective is to establish rules and measures to use against attacks over the Internet.
Shopping cart. a cart supplied by a shop, especially supermarkets, for use by customers inside
the shop for transport of merchandise to the check-out counter during shopping.

User. an agent, either a human agent (end-user) or software agent, who uses
a computer or network service. Can be either a Guest or Client.

than manual systems. A calculation through automation minimizes errors and increases
efficiency. The inputted data can easily be summarized in just a few clicks. While the manual

machine and software. Other expenses associated with computerization include training and
program maintenance.

ordering systems will fail to produce accuracy and high level of productivity unless they are well
managed. When computerized methods are used for ordering evaluation, the ordering journal and
the ordering record or list are commonly prepared to one simultaneously operation.

According to Badrick (1998), he stated that the ordering control methods described as a
means for determining an optimal level of online ordering as well as how much should be
ordered and when. These tools are necessary for managing inventory against the cost of carrying
it. Computers have opened the new worlds and operations research has many applications in the
management.

In this study conducted by Ariel Magat (2002), he stated that the inventory system of
the vital to any institution, agency, or department. The proper safekeeping, processing and
disposal of records play important roles in the efficient, effective and operation that eventually
would lead to the success attainment of the goal and objectives of institution, agency and
department concerned. Base on her recommendation there should be a central record
management office that will hold data of the agency to serve as locator of the record and to
control disposal of each record.
