LIAR Analysis:
Magazine coverLanguage:
The title is being covered by 2 cars- this is because they think that
everyone knows Top Gear so they have enough confidence not to show all
of the title.
The writing on the title is in black so it can be seen and so it doesnt clash
with anything. The main article THE STIG vs SLS BLACK is in block capitals
so it can stand out. The bright yellow Mercedes SLS Black was used in that
angle to make the title covered and so the readers can see the car at a
nice angle. The colours are ones that stand out such as yellow, red, black
and white.

Institution:
Immediate Media Company made the Top Gear Magazine.

Audience:
The magazine is aimed at men and boys- there is no specific age range as most men and boys like
cars.

Representation:
Whilst there are no images on the magazine, men are usually stereotyped with going fast, having a
passion with cars and danger.

CD Cover:

Language:
The CD Cover includes two words- Vile and Electrodes, they are
wrote in a grey format in which the V and the E are almost reflecting
as if they are a mirror image. The CD Cover has a black background that
makes the grey writing stand out. The image in the bottom left
stretches out to the top right to make the writing stand out.

Film Poster:
Language:
This film poster has the bare minimum writing in it: it has the film title, the
dates it comes out, and a huge 2 to indicate it is the second film in the
series to come out. The man in the poster (Liam Neeson) is the main
character in the film. The background is in grey to indicate that the film is
no ordinary film that is happy and cheerful; far from: it has shootings,
stabbing and a lot of violence. The red writing at the bottom left is in red:
to indicate that there is a lot of blood and gore.
Institution: 20th Century Fox
Audience:
This film is primary meant for men and young adults aged 14+

Representation:
This film brings across a huge stereotype of violence: the film has a lot of violence therefore it may
want men and young adults to behave in that way.

The cover uses bold white writing, in a broken font to suggest that the
film is scened in a violent place. The grey background is grey, to suggest
that the film is violent and depressing. The man in the middle of the cover:
Daniel Craig, is the main character and he looks like he is angry and wants
to harm someone.

Institution:
EON Productions made Spectre

Audience:
Primarily, young men and men aged from 13+ can watch this film, it is not a gender specific film but
it is mainly watched by men.

Representation:
This film has carried the stereotype across from the last film Skyfall: meaning that there is violence
