1. How is it possible for scientist to remove a DNA molecule from a
cell if it is so small. What tools do they use and how long does it
take?
2. Since mature red blood cells do not have a nucleus, do they still
have DNA? If not, are they still considered living?
3. Is there a book or organization responsible for keeping track of
all known living things? If so, how do they categorize and
confirm when new organisms are discovered?
4. Are steroids like testosterone and estrogen artificially made or
taken from a live organism when being used for medical
purposes?
5. Is there proof that organic foods are any better for our bodies?
6. How do diseases that start in animals begin to infect humans?
7. Where do cells get their extra mass from when they are growing
and dividing, especially during fetal development.
8. Is it possible to create or sort male sperm with a single sex
chromosome to ensure the sex of your baby?
9. Since everyone has a different genetic makeup, how do
geneticists know they have found the correct gene they are
looking for when they study the genome?
