video and shows a
wolf howling,
suggesting the hour
of the day midnight.
The effects used are
warm colours, red,
yellow and orange.
This shows life,
warmth and activity.
Further suggesting
that it is heated in
the club. Also the significance of the wolf could be referred to as
party animals and therefore literally having an animal in the party.
However they dont have just any animal, they have an animal
traditionally known to be dangerous and only come out at night.
This ties in with Andrew Goodwins theory of narrative and
interpretation. The audience could look at this shot and decide what
the story is telling and then interpret the video how they see best
fits the song.
This a shot of a girl
taking drugs, and the
camera captures her
right in the centre of
the shot. This
highlights the
activities that go on in
the club. It could also
be representative to
all those in the club
suggesting that it is
typical for them to
part take in taking
drugs. The same
effect is carried out throughout 95% of the video. The only time its
not there is when its an outdoor environment. This is because there
isnt the same vibe on the streets and there is no dancing, drugs or
music, which links to feeling of warmth.
The idea of drug use will be used in my music video and will be
evident through props and emotion.

which fits in with
the environment.
In regards to the
song, the dancing
matches the beat
of the song. There
is a lot of
socialising going
on between people of different genders.

This low angle shot

could be interpreted
as the people in the
club, feeling low and
therefore seek
comfort in these
activities, e.g. clubs
socialising drugs,
alcohol. However the
man is feeling high
and therefore is
given a higher
position to the
camera.

Here is
a shot
of a
boy
and a
girl
who
have
just
met at
the
club.
The
boy is
comforting the girl insinuating that there is some sort of chemistry
going on. They both look frightened/scared, which could be because
of the drugs they took and everything feels heightened and they
could be feeling vulnerable.

The
same
boy and
girl are
kissing
in the
club
which
links to
Richard

Goodwins theory of the representation of women and how they can

be sexualised. This is linked because the guy approaches the girl
and this indicated and foreshadowed that there will be some sexual
activity.

The idea of drugs and alcohol in this music video, as well as the
effects and trippy vision, inspires me to add this in my music video
and gives me ideas.
