Good standing
If you left the University of Arizona in good standing (with a GPA of 2.0 or above), the deadlines to apply for readmission are:
Spring semester ..............November 1
Summer I & II ...................May 1
Fall semester ...................August 1
To meet the admission deadline, all of your transcripts and your application must be received
postmarked by the appropriate deadline. If the deadline falls on a nonbusiness day, the deadline is extended through the next
business day.
Processing time
If you left in good standing, you can expect the process to take 6 to 8 weeks from the time we receive your complete
application. This time frame may increase during our peak processing time.

If you contact a UA college dean or advisor, he or she may ask you to send your grades for the semester in progress before
Undergraduate Admissions makes a readmission decision. Send your transcript(s) when requested. If you dont send the
required transcripts, you will not meet the admission deadline and will not be considered for the desired semester. Once

grades will be used to calculate your readmission GPA.
We do not include workshops, seminars, or certain technical courses in the calculation because these courses are not
transferable.
Will I be readmitted?

the University of Arizona. If applying to the College of Fine Arts and you were not a Fine Arts major, you will need to complete
an additional application through the CFA online admissions portal (cfa.arizona.edu/index.php/applications).
If your recalculated cumulative GPA is below 2.0 or you now wish to be considered for a major within the College of
Architecture, College of Engineering, or College of Fine Arts and you were not enrolled in that major previously, your
application will be forwarded to the new college for its recommendation. If applying to the College of Fine Arts and you were
not a Fine Arts major, you will need to complete an additional application through the CFA online admissions portal
(cfa.arizona.edu/index.php/applications).
All admission decisions will be made by the college. Generally, students are expected to apply after completing 24 units of
transferable college course work with a recalculated cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
