RULES & REGULATIONS: Syarat-syarat dan Peraturan-peraturan:
Nikon Club Members can post as many images (entries) on the Members Post gallery on this open and free to
express I AM NIKON ANNUAL PHOTO AWARDS 2015.
Ahli-ahli Kelab Nikon boleh menghantar seberapa banyak gambar ( penyertaan ) di Galeri Members Post untuk
menyatakan I AM NIKON ANNUAL PHOTO AWARDS 2015.
1. CONTEST PERIOD TEMPOH PERTANDINGAN
The period for submission of entries shall start at 12:00am on Thursday, 1 January 2015 and close at 11:59pm on
Tuesday, 29 September 2015. The Organisers reserve the right to amend this period with due notice once it has

begun.
Pertandingan ini akan diadakan dari jam 12:00 pagi pada hari Khamis, 1 Januari 2015 sehingga jam 11:59
petang pada hari Selasa, 29 September 2015 atau satu masa lain yang ditentukan oleh pihak penganjur dari
semasa ke semasa .
2. PARTICIPATION SYARAT PENYERTAAN
2.1 This contest is open to all registered Nikon Club Members (Malaysia and Brunei citizens) of all age groups.
2.1 Pertandingan ini terbuka kepada semua ahli berdaftar Kelab Nikon ( Rakyat Malaysia dan Brunei ) untuk
semua peringkat umur.
2.2 Staff of Nikon Centre Kuala Lumpur, Nikon (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, Futuromic Photo AV Sdn Bhd, Futuromic
Photo AV (North Borneo) Sdn Bhd, including the State Liaison(s) of Nikon Club Malaysia; the management
committee of Nikon Club Malaysia and the Main Organizing Committee of this contest are not allowed to
participate in this contest.
2.2 Kakitangan Nikon Centre Kuala Lumpur, Nikon ( Malaysia ) Sdn Bhd, Futuromic Photo AV Sdn Bhd,
Futuromic Photo AV ( Borneo Utara ) Sdn Bhd, termasuk Liaison-liaison negeri daripada Nikon Club Malaysia,
jawatankuasa pengurusan Nikon Club Malaysia dan jawatankuasa penganjur utama petandingan ini tidak
dibenarkan untuk mengambil bahagian.
3. THEMES/SUBJECTS TEMA/SUBJEK
The themes/subjects for this years contest shall be posted every three (3) calendar weeks throughout the
contest period.
Tema-tema / subjek untuk pertandingan tahun ini akan dipaparkan di "Member's Post" setiap 3 minggu dari tarikh
permulaan untuk sepanjang tempoh pertandingan 2015.
4. SUBMISSION FORMAT OF IMAGES FORMAT PENGHANTARAN GAMBAR-GAMBAR
4.1 Images can be of any format, using film or digital, in colour or monochrome (black and white). These must be
captured strictly on camera and images produced by way of mobile phone, tablet and/or Personal Digital
Assistant will be rejected. Images must not have been submitted before for participation in any contest or event
nor have led to any prizes awarded or given thereto. Any entry posted must be in the form of a single image.
NO WATER MARK or any form of photographer's identification or copyright mark on the image is advised.
4.1 Mana-mana format untuk gambar-gambar yang ditangkap oleh kamera sama ada menggunakan filem atau
digital, warna atau monokrom (hitam dan putih) tetapi tidak termasuk gambar-gambar yang ditangkap dengan
telefon bimbit , tablet dan / atau Pembantu Digital Peribadi. Gambar-gambar mestilah tidak boleh dikemukakan
sebelum ini dalam mana-mana pertandingan atau acara dan telah memenangi sebarang hadiah. Penyertaan
perlu berada dalam bentuk gambar tunggal. TIADA WATERMARK atau apa-apa bentuk pengenalan atau tanda
hak cipta jurugambar pada gambar-gambar.
4.2 Any form of digital imaging (including sepia, monochrome) or image manipulations (including HDR and IR) is
allowed. All shortlisted entries (finalists) are required to submit to the Organisers upon notice thereto, the digital
file of high res images that were posted in the ORIGINAL FULL RESOLUTION with full EXIF data, either in a CD
or through email for verification purposes. Failure to do so will result in the automatic disqualification of the entry.
The Organisers may also request the submission of a RAW file image at their discretion.
4.2 Apa-apa bentuk gambar digital (termasuk sepia atau monokrom ) atau manipulasi gambar ( termasuk HDR
dan IR ) adalah dibenarkan. Semua penyertaan yang disenarai pendek ( peserta akhir ) dikehendaki
mengemukakan gambar-gambar dalam resolusi tinggi kepada pihak penganjur apabila diberitahu dalam
RESOLUSI PENUH ASAL dengan data EXIF penuh dalam CD atau melalui emel untuk tujuan pengesahan.
Kegagalan berbuat demikian akan menyebabkan penyertaan dibatalkan secara automatik daripada
penghakiman peringkat akhir . Pihak penganjur juga boleh, meminta penyerahan gambar dalam bentuk fail RAW
mengikut budi bicaranya.
4.3 All entries/ images must be the original creation of the participant/photographer who owns the copyright of
such image(s), unless written authorization from the creator and/or proprietary owner is provided at the time of
verification to avoid disqualification. The copyright of the image(s) posted remains with the photographer.
Where applicable, the participant/photographer must hold a model release for model(s) included in the image(s).

Should the participant/photographer fail to adhere to this rule (4.3), he/she shall indemnify the Organisers for all
damages incurred, if any.
The participant /photographer shall not submit images that are pornographic or obscene, production or
distribution of which is an offence punishable under law, that bear or convey ideas/notions of discrimination
whether racial, cultural or otherwise and images which in the Organisers views would be deemed offensive.
4.3 Semua penyertaan / gambar haruslah merupakan ciptaan asal peserta / jurugambar dan memiliki hak cipta
gambar-gambar tersebut, melainkan jika dengan kebenaran bertulis dari pencipta dan / atau pemilik proprietari
disediakan pada masa pengesahan untuk mengelakkan kehilangan kelayakan. Hak cipta gambar-gambar yang
dihantar kekal bersama dengan jurugambar. Di mana yang berkenaan, peserta / jurugambar perlu memiliki
perjanjian penggunaan gambar untuk model yang termasuk dalam gambar-gambar. Sekiranya peserta /
jurugambar gagal memenuhi fasal ini (4.3), ia akan menanggung rugi pihak Penganjur untuk semua kerosakan
yang berlaku, jika ada.
Peserta / Jurugambar tidak boleh mengemukakan apa-apa gambar lucah, tidak senonoh, tema jenayah atau
orang dewasa, pautan, diskriminasi budaya atau bangsa atau gambar-gambar yang menyinggung perasaan
mengikut pendapat mutlak pihak penganjur
4.4 Images submitted must be according to each respective theme/subject as categorised in the Members Post
gallery. On the last Sunday of every third (3rd) calendar week, a panel of judges shall collectively review the
entries and shortlist participants/photographers for each respective category.
These shall be announced and added to the overall list of shortlisted photographers for the contest by the middle
of the following month. One or more new theme(s) /subject (s) may be added and posted for the next three (3)
calendar weeks.
4.4 Gambar-gambar yang dihantar mestilah mengikut setiap tema / subjek yang dikategorikan dalam galeri
Members Post. Pada hari Ahad terakhir setiap minggu ketiga (3) kalendar, panel hakim yang dijemput akan
membuat pilihan untuk menyenarai pendek jurugambar bersama-sama dalam kategori tema tersebut dan akan
diumumkan serta ditambah kepada kumpulan jurugambar yang disenarai pendek untuk pertandingan ini pada
pertengahan bulan yang seterusnya. Satu atau lebih tema / subjek baru boleh ditambah dan diposkan untuk tiga
(3) minggu kalendar akan datang.
5. ENTRY & SHORTLIST PROCEDURE PROSEDUR PENYERTAAN DAN SENARAI PENDEK
5.1 A participant/ photographer must register and post under a single (1) name/identity and is NOT PERMITTED
to create more than one (1) proxy or second name for posting or to post the image(s) of other participants as
being his/her own. The repeated posting of an image or cross posting on non-related theme/subject(s) is also
prohibited. Failure to adhere to this rule (5.1) will automatically disqualify a participant/photographer from the final
round of judging if he/she is shortlisted.
5.1 Peserta / jurugambar adalah dinasihatkan untuk mendaftar dan menghantar gambar di bawah 1 ( satu) nama
dan TIDAK untuk mewujudkan lebih daripada 1 (satu) proksi atau " nama kedua " atau menggunakan gambar
orang lain. Penghantaran berulang untuk gambar yang sama atau yang tidak berkaitan dengan tema / subjek
amat tidak digalakkan. Kegagalan untuk mematuhi peraturan ini akan membatalkan penyertaan seorang
jurugambar dari penghakiman pusingan akhir secara automatik jika anda adalah seorang calon yang disenarai
pendek.
5.2 A participant/photographer needs to be SHORTLISTED ONLY ONCE to qualify for the final round of judging
after the contest period closes. However, he/she is advised to constantly submit images throughout the contest
period in order to have a portfolio of best images to be judged for the final. The more images (entries) he/she
submits for each theme/subject posted every three (3) calendar weeks, the higher the chances of his/her images
being judged by the panel of judges. The winning participants/photographers shall be decided based on their
overall portfolio of best images that have been submitted for all the themes/subjects posted.
5.2 Seorang peserta / jurugambar perlu DISENARAI PENDEK SEKALI SAHAJA untuk melayakkan diri untuk
pertandingan pusingan penghakiman akhir selepas tarikh tutup pada 29 September 2015. Walau bagaimanapun,
mereka yang terlibat dinasihatkan untuk sentiasa menghantar gambar-gambar sepanjang tempoh pertandingan
supaya mempunyai portfolio ' gambar-gambar terbaik ' untuk dihakimi pada pusingan akhir, semakin banyak
gambar ( penyertaan ) yang dihantar untuk setiap tema / subjek yang diposkan bagi setiap tiga ( 3 ) minggu
kalendar, gambar-gambarnya mempunyai peluang yang lebih baik untuk dihakimi oleh panel hakim. Pemenang
untuk peserta / jurugambar hendaklah berdasarkan jumlah keseluruhan ( portfolio ) bilangan gambar terbaik
yang dihantar untuk semua tema / subjek yang diposkan.
6. PRIZES & JUDGING PENGHAKIMAN DAN KEPUTUSAN

6.1 Following the closing of the contest period, a panel of judges shall judge the overall portfolio of images
submitted by each shortlisted participant/photographer.
6.1.1 The prizes to be given out are as follows:
Best Overall (1) Photographer for the Year shall receive a Nikon D750 DSLR Camera with 24-120mm Lens, a
certificate and a trophy. Satu (1) Jurugambar Terbaik untuk Tahun 2015 akan menerima sebuah Nikon D750
DSLR Camera with 24-120mm Lens, sehelai sijil dan sebuah trofi.
Special Mention (2) Photographers for the Year shall each receive a Nikon D7100 DSLR Camera with 18-140mm
Lens, a certificate and a trophy. Dua (2) Jurugambar "Special Mention" Terbaik untuk Tahun 2015 akan
menerima (setiap jurugambar) sebuah Nikon D7100 DSLR Camera with 18-140mm Lens, sehelai sijil dan
sebuah trofi.
Five (5) Consolation Prizes: Each photographer is to receive a Coolpix A camera, a certificate and a trophy. Lima
(5) Hadiah Sagu Hati : Setiap jurugambar akan menerima satu Coolpix A, sehelai sijil dan sebuah trofi
6.1.2 Each participant/photographer may only win one (1) prize. The Organisers comprising Nikon Centre Kuala
Lumpur, Nikon Club Malaysia, Nikon (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and the management committee of Nikon Club
Malaysia reserve the right to substitute the prizes above with items of equivalent value in the event of
unavailability of stock.
6.1.2 Seorang peserta / pemenang hanya boleh memenangi satu (1) hadiah sahaja. Pihak penganjur-penganjur
yang terdiri daripada Nikon Centre Kuala Lumpur, Nikon Club Malaysia, Nikon ( Malaysia ) Sdn Bhd dan
jawatankuasa pengurusan Nikon Club Malaysia berhak untuk menggantikan hadiah-hadiah (dengan barangan
yang sama nilainya) sekiranya berlaku ketiadaan stok.
6.2 All winning participants are required to submit his/her Full Name (as in new I/C or Passport), new
I/C/Passport No, postal address, email and telephone/mobile number within the period stipulated in the
Organisers email notifying the said participant that he/she has won a prize.
6.2 Semua pemenang yang disenarai pendek juga dikehendaki untuk mengemukakan Nama Penuh (seperti
dalam kad pengenalan baru atau Passport ), no kad pengenalan baru / Pasport, alamat surat-menyurat, emel
dan nombor telefon / telefon bimbit dalam tempoh tarikh yang ditetapkan seperti yang dinyatakan dalam emel
pihak penganjur yang memberitahu bahawa peserta tersebut disenarai pendek .
6.3 The results of the contest will be decided by a panel of judges as appointed by the Organizers. The judges
decisions are final and no appeal or objection shall be entertained.
6.3 Keputusan pertandingan ini akan diputuskan oleh panel hakim yang dilantik oleh pihak penganjur. Keputusan
hakim adalah muktamad dan sebarang surat menyurat tidak akan dilayan.
7. COPYRIGHT & REPRODUCTION HAKCIPTA & REPRODUKSI
The Organizers reserve the absolute right to exhibit or reproduce any submitted images (entries) in whatever way
deemed fit for exhibitions and for any print-based publicity and promotional purposes without prior notice,
consent or payment of fee whatsoever to the participants.
Pihak penganjur memelihara hak mutlak untuk mempamerkan atau mengeluarkan semula apa-apa gambar yang
boleh diterima ( penyertaan ) dalam apa jua cara yang difikirkan sesuai untuk pameran dan bagi apa-apa
publisiti dan tujuan promosi tanpa sebarang notis, kebenaran atau bayaran kepada peserta.
8. CONSENT & DECLARATION PERSETUJUAN & PENGISYTIHARAN
By participating in this contest, every photographer shall be deemed to have read and understood these rules
and regulations as stated and have agreed to be bound to them as well as all decisions to be made by the
Organisers and panel of judges. She/he shall also be deemed to have hereby declared and represented that they
are the original photographer for any image submitted under their name/identity and that these do not infringe
upon any third party rights.
Dengan menyertai pertandingan ini , para peserta bersetuju untuk terikat dengan peraturan-peraturan dan
keputusan yang dibuat oleh pihak penganjur dan panel hakim. Di samping itu, mereka yang terlibat telah
membaca dan memahami peraturan-peraturan yang dinyatakan di atas dan akan mematuhi peraturan-peraturan
tersebut. Mereka dengan ini mengisytiharkan bahawa adalah jurugambar asal dan bahawa gambar-gambar ini

tidak melanggar mana-mana hak pihak ketiga.

Terms & Conditions for the payment of fee for a Workshop or Photo Activity organised by Nikon Club
Malaysia
1. By registering for this event, you explicitly agree to all the terms and conditions below.
1.1 Nikon users MUST be a registered member of the Nikon Club Malaysia (NCM) to participate in any of the list
of posted workshops or activities unless invited by the Management Committee of the Club. Participant may
require to pay a fee as advertised. To become a FREE member of the Nikon Club Malaysia, please log on to
www.nikonclub.com.my for registration and details.
1.2 Interested users will have or 'register ' their interest by stating their name on the REGISTRATION BOOKING
column on the workshop or activity as listed on the website together by providing information such as email
and/or telephone contact as requested. By registering your interest on the REGISTRATION BOOKING, your
participation is only confirmed provided you make full payment for the fee required as advertised.
1.3 Payment of fee for a workshop or activity must be made at least 7 (Seven) days before the commencement
of a workshop or activity. There are 3 payment methods available

Cash or credit card Payment can only be made in person at the Nikon Centre Kuala Lumpur, Berjaya
Times Square (NCKL)

Bank Transfer - Direct payment into Futuromic Photo AV Sdn Bhd at MAYBANK account 5127-54317035.

Cheque - Any payment in cheque is to be made payable to Futuromic Photo AV Sdn Bhd. Participation
is only confirmed once the cheque is cleared (normally 3 working days).

2. All participants who have registered and paid in full, any postponement of a workshop date by participant(s) is
allowed, but no refund of fee. Any participant(s) who have paid in full and failed to attend a booked workshop is
deemed to have postponed at his/her own accord, even without informing in writing (email) or by telephone. As
such, the participant (s) is/are required to re book his/her new date for a same workshop at a later stage as
advertised or announced on the Clubs website with the NCM by applying the clause 1.1 as stated as above.

2.1 Alternatively, the participant (s) can bring the paid fee amount forward for a new workshop/activity. In
addition, should there be a difference of a lower amount of the paid fee against the new fee; the participant(s) has
to pay difference. However, should there be a higher amount been already paid against the new
workshop/activity fee, there shall be no refund for any differences.
3. NCM reserves the right to refund any amount if it choose to do so, due to compassion reasons, but an
administration fee of RM10.00 (Ringgit: Ten only) to RM50.00 (Ringgit: Fifty only) shall apply depending on the
type of workshop or activity.
4. Should there be any cancellation of a workshop or activity by the Nikon Club Malaysia (NCM) 14 (fourteen)
days before the commencement of a workshop or activity, no refund shall be made. As such, Clause 2 and /or 2.1
shall apply here. Nevertheless, a full refund of the amount paid will be made in the event a cancellation is
announced later than 14 days as required. Any such refund required shall also be made within 14 days without
any interests from the date of the late announcement.
5. Nikon Club Malaysia (NCM) reserves the rights to change the terms & conditions, cancel or postpone a class
whenever it sees fit before 14 (fourteen) days, should it required to do so in any unforeseen circumstance beyond
the Clubs control. However, should such a postponement is required, it shall be posted on the NCMs website
and the participants shall be contacted by email or telephone soonest by the personnel of the NCM.
6. Nikon Centre KL or Nikon Club Malaysia is not liable and/or responsible for cost incurred for any personal flight
and hotel bookings by participants due to date cancellations and/or postponements of workshops. We advise
participants to confirm with us by emailing or telephone or logging on the Nikon Club Malaysia website before
making their hotels and/or flights reservations latest 14 days before the commencement of a workshop or activity.
7. Participants interested to register or to attend any of the workshops or activity are advised to read the
information of each event and also the terms and conditions of it. By paying, the fee for a workshop or activity is
deemed to have read and understand the terms and conditions as stated by NCM.
8. All participants participating in any or all of the workshops and activities may do so at their own risks and the
organisers or sponsors are not liable for any loss of property, equipment or lives at any one time. Any
participant(s) under the age of 16 (Sixteen) are advised to seek parental or guardians approval or company
during such an event.
