The author reflects on a difficult year dealing with exams and expectations. They joined the student club Aasra to find enjoyment, and attended an orientation where they learned the club's work provides love rather than recognition or rewards. This touched the author's heart and inspired them to volunteer spreading smiles. The author's first day working with young children at their site was nervous but the children's enthusiastic love and eagerness to show their work melted the author's heart. The author realized that a small amount of love is all that's needed to connect with others, and Aasra provided a platform not just for enjoyment but to spread smiles through education. Everyone should contribute their pinch of love through social activities to develop themselves and their country.

asked to speak about % of love your parents do to you or gross value of your love towards small children ...??- I think none of you can answer that... The year 2014 had been one of the toughest year of my life. From the month of March onwards the race of exams and the fear of expectations trembled my body and soul a lot. First the board exams then JEE and so on..When I first joined NITR, I thought life would be same as before i.e. 3 things will be commonStudy....Study....and Study. I thought if I want to enjoy the so called engineering life than I have to reduce my study hours and with that intention I started my initial times at NIT. But one day I realized that what I was doing was completely wrong, instead of enjoying I was ruining my life...
During that time I came across the orientation of Aasra
club. I attended the orientation only for the sake of the good behaviour of Bhaiyas and Didis . And that evening perhaps was one of my favourite evening .I came to know about the working structure of Aasra. One important point of that orientation which touched my heart was that, if we work for Aasra, we will neither get money nor certificate not even recognization....the one & only thing which we will get is LOVE.... Only that day I decided to join Aasra and I took a resolution that I will try my level best to Spread Smile...
The first day at my Sec-6 workplace was awesome and I
think I cannot explain the feeling of happiness that day in this short article... When I reached the workplace I was nervous. Reallythe feeling of nervousness during result day and that day was completely similar. I was thinking that how could small children interact with a complete stranger i.e. myself. But unexpectedly the love which they showed me was heart melting...They talked with me as if they knew me ...I was amazed...I asked them few questions & they answered me enthusiastically. They showed me their drawings and previous study works. I spent almost 1 hour with them and truly speaking yaar they touched my heart... From that day I understood that measurement of love is a vague question...Only a pinch of love is all you need to communicate with anybody...Aasra club...oops not club but family, not only provided me a facility to enjoy life but also a platform to spread smile through education......We as a good citizen should use our intellect to develop our country and doing social activities as Aasra is one of the steps which every Indian should do...and in this brand new year everybody should share their pinch of love for development of ourselves as well as our country.....
