TENTATIVE SPEAKER

Rear Admiral Len Hering (ret.), United States Navy Region Southwest

If the San Diego Regional Sustainability Partnership has a founding

father, it is Rear Admiral Len Hering, former Commander, Navy Region
Southwest, who retired in 2009. He was instrumental in the Partnership’s
founding in 2006. His vigorous support since its inception helped
transform the Partnership into an active community organization, and his
leadership in sustainability will have a positive impact on the San Diego
