Consumers requests Commission
approval to permit the dredging of
sediment, and the excavation of a
sediment trap in the Little Muskegon
River arm of Croton reservoir.
Specifically, the proposed dredging
would cover an underneath area of
approximately 1,300 feet (ft) x 48 ft, and
the proposed excavation area would
cover an underwater 300 ft x 50 ft the
excavated sediment trap would be 8 ft
deep. The submerged land involved in
the dredging/excavation proposal is
owned in fee by Consumers.

Technical Conference
May 31, 2006.
On May 11, 2006, the Commission
released a Staff Assessment of the North
American Electric Reliability Council’s
(NERC) current reliability standards.
The Staff Assessment is a preliminary
evaluation intended to assist in

anticipation of Commission action on
NERC’s April 4, 2006 petition for
approval of reliability standards.
Take notice that the Federal Energy
Regulatory Commission will hold a
Technical Conference to consider
NERC’s April 4, 2006 petition and to
address issues raised in the Staff
Assessment. This Technical Conference
will be held on July 6, 2006, in the
offices of the Commission, 888 First
Street, NE., Washington, DC, from
approximately 9 a.m. until
approximately 4 p.m. (EST). This
conference will be held in the
Commission Meeting Room on the
second floor of the Commission. All
interested persons may attend, and
registration is not required. This will be
a staff conference, but Commissioners
may attend.
