Visiting in Poland
~ by Mark Christian
I was very blessed to take six ministry students from Great Lakes Christian
College to visit the country, encourage the local churches, and to be blessed by
meeting so many believers from another country. The trip to Poland was a lifealtering experience for each of us. It was an incredible blessing to be so gra
ciously received, shown generous hospitality, and to see the strength of the
individual congregations. I have said many times since I returned in late Febru
ary, "The churches in Poland don't need the American church to teach them
how to be the church, what they need is our encouragement and support."

The real joy for me was to be able to share with my home congregation in
Mt. Pleasant, Michigan that God Is moving in these Ministers, these families,
and this nation.

in what God is leading them to do. Iwitnessed
men with real vision for leadership. I saw
people committed to doing the hard work of
ministry and enjoying it. It was a real blessing
to see that our participation in Polish Chris
tian Ministries is an investment where God is

already working and changing lives.

The Preacher's Kids

News from LidzbarkWelski

I have been going to Poland since 1987.

Over these past 16 years it has been a joy to
see the kids from the various preacher families
grow up and mature into Christian adults and
servants in Christ's Kingdom. I am happy to
share with you these two wedding pictures from
my album of "Preacher's Kids."

Piotr Juszczyk died on February 25, 2003.

Piotr taught and preached the "Good News"

about Jesus from a wheelchair in his home in

A year ago Piotr wrote: "We rejoice that we
are not building our faith on some shifting sands

Belarus Camp Property

A beautiful piece of property (shown below) has been
purchased for a church camp for the churches of Belarus, in
and around the city of Pinsk. Contributions made this pos
sible and funds are being raised to build cabins on the prop
erty. A camp program will be held on this property this year.
Thanks to each one who is helping to make this possible!
