Duties:

To be responsible for the stores management and implementation of systems.


Monitor office stock levels and advise on appropriate stocking and replenishment to meet project

demands.
Ensure appropriate packing and loading of materials for dispatch and supervise material loading,

and unloading.
Assist the Logistics Officer in ensuring that local, national and international procurement

practices are compliant with Save the Children and donor regulations.
Assist the Logistics Officer in planning reliable and timely transportation of freight to

Somalia/Somaliland.
Track and confirm delivery of goods to their final destination.
Update and maintain the asset register and ensure that all assets are logged and issued with a

unique asset number.


Responsible for ensuring each item is stored in the appropriate manner, is easy to access and has

an updated stock card /Bin Card including minimum reorder level.


Maintain a complete filing system to include all documentation e.g. GRNS, inventories, way

bills, packing lists, distribution reports etc.


Ensure that any incoming items match the waybill and advise the Logistics Officer of any

exceptions and to issue Goods Received Notes (GRNs) for any items received.
Ensure the stores are kept in a good reparative order, are kept locked and are clean and tidy.
To produce monthly stock reports of all movements of stock in and out of the store.
Comply with all relevant Save the Children policies and procedures with respect to child

protection, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies.
Assist in updating supply monitoring pipeline data on weekly basis, physical inventory with

warehouse personnel & cross check w/UNITRACK data.


Prepare stock report on weekly basis based on incoming and outgoing supplies.
Monitor randomly accuracy of stock cards.
Liaise with Program Officers and their respective IPs, SPA, Operations Officer before and after

transportation of supplies.
Any other duties as specified by the supervisor, Operations Officer and CFO.
Provision of inputs to preparation of procurement plans for the office.

Support to organization of procurement processes including preparation of RFQs, PO documents,


receipt of quotations, bids or proposals, their preliminary evaluation.
