Students may be subject to different degree requirements based on date of admission to the program. A students official advising
worksheet will be provided at the time of admission. Students are responsible for checking with their major professors to ensure
that they are following the appropriate advising worksheet.
NOTE: Coursework used to meet Class A certification requirements may not be used to meet certification requirements for Class
AA certification in any teaching field or area of instructional support. In addition, current State regulations note that
coursework for which credit was earned prior to the completion of all requirements for the masters degree may not be used
toward the issuance of higher level certification. To ensure compliance with these regulations, graduate students are responsible
for checking with the Coordinator for Graduate Student Services if they plan to enroll in coursework contributing to Class AA
certification before completion of a masters degree.
