Data warehousing.
I have core experience in developing full life cycle Data warehousing projects which include
requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of Data
Warehousing using ETL Tools like Abinitio.
Experience with complex SQL queries on Netezza to handle huge volume of data.

Project Description
Goal of the project is to read source data for AOL Consumer Application and Products and load into
database after ETL transformations for Business Reporting.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Understanding Business requirements and providing technical solution to meet all the acceptance
criteria.
Preparation of technical documents for Development, QA and production support such as ERD,
Data Dictionary, Source to target mapping, Data Volume Estimates, System and Data flow diagrams,
Production Support Document etc.
Design end to end ETL process including Data base design, testing scenarios and recovery process.
Providing functional and operation presentation to DB and Operations team for their approval.
Putting all the tasks and test cases for Development and QA cycle on Version One to keep track of
the work flow.
As an ETL developer, responsible to create AB Initio graphs, DDL for data base tables, SQL's for data
migration, Unix Shell scripts to handle code, Autosys streams for scheduling.
Unit testing of the projects to meet requirements and data validation.
Code review of the development done at offsite and provide suggestions to add value.

 To identify scopes of improvement in the existing process and plan to implement it after business
approval.
Worked on process to inform Operations and Business users about SLA's checks.
Root cause Analysis exercise to ensure defects are corrected appropriately and implementing proactive
measures to prevent future occurrences.
