Member ship
1-The value of annual subscription for the active / corporate/ family / honorary member who has the residence
permit in Egypt is LE 50 (Fifty Egyptian pounds).
2-The annual subscription is payable annually based upon the request of the member. In all cases, the annual
subscription shall be paid before the end of the financial year.
A member of the Association shall fulfill the following:
1- He/ She shall be of good conduct and behavior.
2-He/ She must be 21 years old.
3- In case of family membership every member of the family shall be eligible for joining the association
provided that the membership requirements are met.
4-Payment of the membership shall not give the applicant any rights before the issuance of a resolution by the Board of
Directors accepting his/her membership in the Association.
5- In case of corporate membership, the corporate shall be represented by one member carrying one vote
The membership shall terminate in the following cases:
1.
Resignation or withdrawal from the Association. The member shall notify the Association thereof by
registered letter with Acknowledgement of receipt. This shall not derogate the right of the Association to
claim from him/her whatever is due thereby, or claim its funds with him/her.
2.
Death.
3.
If the member forfeits any of the membership conditions.
4.
Removal from the Association membership:
(A) If the member commits an act that causes a serious material or moral damage to the Association.
(B) If the member exploits his/her joining the Associations for a personal purpose.
5.
If the member defaults in payment of the subscription fee for a period of four months, providing that
he/she shall be notified of the accrual of the subscription due date by registered letter with
acknowledgement of receipt ( or by a non-delivery note from the postal Authority) within the four
months immediately following the due date for payment of the subscription.
The membership shall be terminated by virtue of a decision of the Board of Directors comprising a statement
regarding the member's name, the reason for terminating the membership, and the date to which the termination
of membership reverts.
A member whose membership has been terminated shall be notified thereof, within fifteen days starting from
the date of issuance of the decision terminating the membership, by registered letter with acknowledgement of
receipt or by a return or non-delivery note from the Postal Authority, to which shall be attached a copy of the
aforesaid Board of Directors' decision.
