Goal setting interviews are rapidly approaching. Goal Schoolare
setting interviews Banking
a time where we hear in more detail from you as
parents about your child Spanish
and their interests. It is also an opportunity for us as teachers to share with you our observations of
your child’s work habits, social skills and school assessment results. With the sharing of information we will review goals set
last year (if your child was at CTMS) and then set new goals for the first half of this year. Students in Kahikatea and Kowhai
will join us for the goal setting interviews. Goals will vary for each child as this will depend on needs, interests and academic
achievement.
NOTICES:
International Festival of the Arts: This week Kauri and Kahikatea will be attending the International Festival of the Arts
Performance ‘Cheeseboy’ 10:00am at Capital E.
City Gallery Visits: On Thursday 18 March Kauri visit the City Gallery. Kowhai and Kahikatea visit the City Gallery on Friday 19
March. Both groups are attending the ‘Toi Maori’ painting workshop. The gallery requires a minimum parent help ratio of 1
parent to 8 children (we need 2 parents per Homegroup). Kauri visit 10am on Thursday. Kowhai visit 10am on Friday. Kahikatea
visit 12:30pm on Friday. All students will be participating in a Maori focus painting workshop.
Assessment Evening/BOT Strategic Plan Update: Thank you to those parents/caregivers who were able to join us for the
Assessment Evening presentation and discussion and BOT Strategic Plan update last night. The information shared at the
evening and outcomes of the discussions will support staff in deciding on a report format for reporting your child/children’s
achievement levels against the National Standards.
Goal Setting Interviews: Goal Setting Interviews have been re-scheduled a week earlier for Monday 22nd March and Tuesday
23rd March. The re-scheduled times are due to other school commitments in the last week of term. Interview Slips go out today
