AGREEMENT WITH HOTELS FOR STAY AT CONCESSIONAL RATES

1.
The provisions of Sixth Pay Commission have entitled offrs to stay in hotels
and claim reimbursement as per the authorised DA. The guest rooms at various
Cantts/Mil Stns are grossly inadequate to meet the reqmts of offrs who are on TD
and hence they have to stay in suitable hotels. ADG Adm & Coord has been
facilitating this reqmt of the environment by contacting the reputed hotels with
endeavour being made to get into agreement with Hotel Groups having reach at
most locs of interest for Army, besides ensuring quality service.
2.
Post enhancement of DA to 51% wef 01 Jan 2011, the entitled daily rate of
allces on Tour in r/o offrs while on TD are as follows :Ser

AGREEMENT WITH TAJ GROUP OF HOTELS

1.
In view of the new hotels being offered by TAJ Group for inclusion in the
earlier contract and revision of entitlements of TA/DA in respect of offrs while on
TD after DA rates having exceeded 50%, the existing Agreement with TAJ Group
has been revised on 05 Jul 2011. The relevant aspects are as given in the
succeeding paras.
2.
Locs and Rates. There are a total of 29 Hotels incl Taj Palace Hotel and
Ambassador Hotel at Delhi which have been covered under the special tariff rates
as per the details given at Annx I to IV.
3.
Booking Procedure.
Offr is reqd to make the booking directly with
TAJ Group, for booking of room under Army contract. While interacting for
booking, the Executives of TAJ Group will not be in a position to intimate
concessional rental rates, as per the policy in vogue. Thus, offrs are expected not
to seek these details from Booking Executives at various hotels. The booking
procedure will be as follows :(a)
