These projects utilized a wide range of technologies ranging from Microsoft,
Symantec/Veritas, VMware, MS SQL, MS Exchange and MS
GEO-CLUSTERING.

Typical projects and assignments were clients from Fortune 500's, Financial,
and Governments; these clients often spanned multiple states and countries
primarily with MS and VMware technologies.

Consultant
Performed an analysis of the current state environment and the two target
state Microsoft Active Directory environments.
This environment serviced approximately 12,000 users.
Implemented a process to allow IBM to take over day-to-day support of the
client's 117 server Microsoft Exchange organization, along with the group
policy objects for the sections of the Active Directory 2000 environment.
Led the discovery of two Microsoft Active Directory 2003 forests that the
client had partially deployed to support two new Exchange 2003
organizations.
Recommended remediation's to resolve the deficiencies in these target state
environments so that the near future migration could be accomplished.
Environment: Microsoft Active Directory, VBScript, LDIFDE/CSVDE,
WMI, Stealth Audit.

IHS Inc
Senior Technical Architect
Gathered, designed, analyzed, and implemented requirements for Microsoft
Exchange 2003 and other collaboration tools.
Architected a manageable hybrid system comprised of Lotus Notes and eight
other disparate messaging platforms ranging from Sendmail, Microsoft Mail,
and Exchange 5.5, 2000, and 2003.
Developed custom MSI packages for product installations via Systems
Management Server and Active Directory for deployment on the NMCI
(Navy Marine Corp Intranet).
Developed customized installation packages for Windows XP SP 2 for
deployment via Systems Management Server 2.0.

Senior Systems Engineer


Researched and implemented new technologies for the Product
Development Group.
Managed three software engineers in the IHS Health Group unit developing
web-based subscription services.
Migrated and consolidated 50 servers in the Santa Anna, CA, and

Englewood, CO, offices.


Consolidated 5 disparate websites into one.
Eliminated 46 servers and implemented pre-deployment and staging
environments with an annual cost saving of $77,000.
Reduced the staffing requirements by 8 full-time employees.
Developed two new online products with combined revenue of $500,000.
Redesigned and implemented robust two-token authorization and
authentication mechanisms with an annual cost savings of $256,000.
Managed 9 NT administrators with 130 servers and 800 user desktops spread
among 64 Windows NT 4.0 domains.
Consolidated and migrated the environment into a Microsoft Windows 2000
Active Directory environment using WSH and WMI scripts that
programmaticly inventoried the environment and stored the data in a SQL
2000 database for capacity planning and analysis purposes.

Console Operator and Technical Support Specialist
Provided systems administration and support for the primary data processing
and delivery systems for North America.
Assisted the implementation and support team in the deployment of the new
Trans Act system worldwide utilizing Sun Solaris, Oracle 7.2, and Microsoft
Windows NT 4.0 to replace non-Y2K compliant VAX 6000 cluster-based
applications.
Oversaw data transmission and conversion before delivery to the clientele.
Trained new personnel in data conversion and delivery processes.
