THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE BAND


The United States Air Force Band is a musical organization
with an outstanding record of achievement of more than 65 years.
Known as Americas International Musical Ambassadors, it has won
the hearts of millions of music lovers throughout the world. The
bands official military life began on September 24th, 1941, with the
formation of the Bolling Army Air Forces Band.
Consisting of eight unique performing ensembles - The Air
Force Strings, Airmen of Note, Ceremonial Brass, Concert Band,
Diplomats, Max Impact, Silver Wings and Singing Sergeants - The Air
Force Band performs a broad variety of musical genres.
The United States Air Force Band provides music for the
president of the United States, secretary of defense, secretary of the Air
Force, chief of staff of the Air Force and other senior military and
government leaders. It also enhances the global Air Force mission by
providing professional musical products and services for official
military, troop morale, recruiting and community relations events.
