Asset Marking Systems Enables overt marking of valuable items in a manner that resists attempted removal by burglars appropriate to their risk of
1228
being stolen. In doing so it deters theft and ensures traceability of the marked item via an LPS1224 approved database.
Burglary Resistance of Office Furniture - Lightweight Containers Provides graded rating (A to D) of resistance to forced entry into desks,

Introduction
This guide introduces current Loss Prevention Standards (LPS) and their
associated approval schemes. These technical standards have been
developed to help provide insurers, clients, designers, specifiers, risk managers
and developers with reliable products and services that meet and continue
to meet their requirements. This guide should be used in conjunction with the
LPCB List of Approved Fire and Security Products and Services
(the Red Book).
This Guide lists and describes the standards in numerical order (Table A) but
for ease of reference standards relevant to particular component/areas are
also listed (Table B).
Table A lists all current Loss Prevention Standards, their scope and
common applications.
