LESSON TOPIC: Greetings- Consolidation and Obeying and giving commands
AIMS OF THE LESSON: by the end of the lesson, students will be able:
- will be familiarized with the topic Obeying and giving commands: stand up, sit down, turn
around, jump, run
- will know how and when to use the Greetings: good morning, good afternoon, good evening,
good night, see you later
- to introduce one's self: My name is
- to sing the song related to the topic: Greetings Song

Cognitive objectives:
- to listen and pronounce correctly new items of vocabulary
- reinforce previous knowledge
Affective objectives:
- to create a pleasant atmosphere in order to offer the background for easy conversation between
teacher and students

- to make students speak freely

Methods and procedures: explanation, elicitation, repetition, independent work, game,
brainstorming, watching an audio-video recording in order for the Ss. to memorize some new
vocabulary items

ASSUMPTIONS: I assume that students are not familiar with language
ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS: - being at a very young age and not knowing the Teacher, the
students might be apprehensive. A possible solution to this would be to sing the song and create a
pleasant atmosphere. Managing to do all the proposed activities in 50 minutes or finishing
earlier than expected. In the first case we can give them extra materials to work on. In the second
case we can leave out some auxiliary activities.
