4 GENERAL ROUTINE
1) A chain of command to be formed and established in the
organization; the concerned persons to have personal knowledge so that there is no ambiguity in case of emergency.
2) Studying the behavioral pattern of the guests and visitors in the
hotel and its premises { psychological aspect }, try to eves-drop the conversation to determine / know the origin of the suspect person. 3) Using the following special services :-- * snuffer dogs to search and detect explosives and drugs.
*X-ray screening of in-bound and out-going luggage and
supplies etc. * using access control systems to regulate visitors and employees. 4) Perimeter security of the property should be secured with use of remote sensing and remote controlled infrared cameras. It will prevent unauthorized and suspected activities just out side the periphery. 5) Main gate should also be manned round the clock with the provision of state of the art screening system for the vehicles passing through the gate. It should have reliable communication with security control room.
6) All the peripheral and inside premises should have adequate
lighting. 7) The access of the vendors, hospitality staff and their supplies should be separate and properly restricted -- proper and effective documentation is required. 8) s
