TOPIC: SURVEY REPORT ON THE CRITERIA OF CHOOSING MISS/MR.

RIGHT
AMONG THE PPISMP MT/BI/BM SEMESTER 3 STUDENTS OF IPGM GAYA CAMPUS

This survey was conducted among the PPISMP MT/BI/BM Sem. 3 students as
the respondent which consists of 11 male and 16 female (refer Graph 1), in order to
know the criteria they look for their Miss/Mr. Right.
Finding Miss/Mr. Right is not always an easy thing to do. One you think you have
found the right person, you may have doubts. It does take more than love to have a
successful married. Therefore, it is very important to classify what are the criteria that
will be considered in order to look for Miss/Mr. Right.
The methodlogy use to conduct this survey is through questionnaire and
interview. The questionnaire was distributed among the respondents, whereas the
interview was conducted randomly among the respondent.
Through the survey, 21 respondents (81%), have been falling in love before,
whereas the remaining five student never fall in love before (refer Graph 2). However
only 13 respondents (50%) is in a relationship, the remaining 13 respondent (50%) still
in single status (refer Graph 3). Respondents also have different mind whether they will
find their Miss/Mr. Right if they in a relationship. 12 respondents (46%) think their couple
will be their Miss/Mr. Right, 12 respondents (46%) unsure about it and 2 respondents
(8%) not think their couple is their Miss/Mr. Right (refer Graph 4). Out of 25 respondents
(96%) think it is necessary to have partner in their life for reasons of to get physical and
emotional support, to continue their generation, they do not want to stay alone in old
days, everyone need to get married and sharing of life is wonderful. The remaining one
respondent thinks he/she will be happy alone. (refer Graph 5 and 6)
Respondents also want to have a partner that can overcome their weaknesses
with 25 out of 26 respondents, (96%) whereas one respondent not think it is important
(refer Graph 7). 18 respondents (69%) do not think it is difficult for them to look for their
Miss/Mr. Right while 8 respondents (41%) not agree with it. Through couple is the most

popular ways to look for Miss/Mr. Right with 18 respondents, (69%), followed by family
choice, 6 respondents (23%) and love agency, 2 respondents (8%). (refer Graph 8 and
9)
In order to look for a partner, 24 respondents (92 %) prefer to look for a partner
with a steady job while 2 respondents (8%) not agree with it. The reason for looking a
partner with steady job because of feeling better with it, their partner would understand
their career, living cost is increasing and it is important for real marriage. While 2
respondents who not agree think it is not necessary to have husband with steady job
and want a fulltime housewife (refer Graph 10 and 11). Higher education is the main
criteria to look for Miss/Mr. Right. 21 out of 26 respondents (81%) will look for educated
partner because of they will be proud with their partner, suitable with their qualifications,
higher educated person has a good job and education is very important. While
remaining 5 respondent (19 %) think attitude is worth more than education (Graph 12
and 13). Wealthy may not play important role in choosing a future partner. As result only
4 respondent (15%) will consider wealthy in choosing their future partner because of
money is important and want to live in wealthy life. For 22 respondents (85%), wealthy
is not play important role for them because money cannot buy happiness, love is all
above and they are not look for money from their partner (refer Graph 14 and 15).
More than that, they also consider other criteria from their future partner. Understanding
is the most popular criteria among the respondent with 14 respondents (27%). Then,
followed by religious, 8 respondent (19%), honest, 8 respondent (15%), responsible, 8
respondent (13%), patience, humorous and trustworthy, each with 2 respondents (4%)
and kind-hearted, 1 respondent (2%). (refer Graph 16)
As a conclusion, looking for Miss/Mr. Right is not an easy thing to do. Couple
might be the popular way to look for a partner however the other criteria such as job,
education and wealthy also play an important role. Attitude of future partner also
considered in order to choose the right one. Our choice will bring happiness or sadness
in marriage. Marriage is not only about living together but also a responsibility. Thus,
choosing the Miss/Mr. Right is the important thing in our life.
