Long Term Objectives :1. Making the villagers feel the need of the desired functioning of
Anganwadi in their respective villages.
2. Enabling them to take initiatives to support Anganwadis for its
smooth

functioning

by

supporting

various

means

like

maintenance of infrastructure, getting administrative sanction,


ensure that the entire fund is utilized for its own purpose only.
3. All the children in the age category of 3 to 5 get good preprimary education

Strengthening of Pre- Primary Education (PPE)


Short Term Objectives :1. Ensure 20 % increase in the enrollment of the children above 3 years in every year.

2. Ensure that the 50 % of students above 4 years learn basic numeral and language skills
which would enable them to have necessary skills to continue in Class One in formal
schooling in the first year and 10 % increase in every year envisaged. .
3. Develop in 85 % students (who are physically fit) adequate muscular coordination and
basic motor skills through various designed activities.
4. Develop good health habits like cleanliness, toileting, eating in all the children of 3
years.
5. Increase the average attendance of the enrolled children by 20 % in the first year and
10 % each in the next two years.
6. Ensure that 60 % of children possess necessary health standard in the end of the first
year and 10 % addition in each year.

LONG TERM OBJECTIVES :1.STUDENTS ACHIEVE THE LEVEL OF PROFICIENCY THAT IS


EQUAL TO THE PROFICIENCY OF CENTRAL SCHOOLS, JNVS
AND REPUTED PUBLIC SCHOOLS OF THE NORTH- EAST.
2.GROOM 2 % OF THE TOTAL STUDENTS AS THE CREATIVE
WRITERS FOR THE LOCAL DAILIES AND CHILDRENS
MAGAZINES.

Short Term Objectives :1. Improve the spoken English standard of the 1071 students studying in
Class I to VIII in 19 Schools of the Kimin Circle.
2. Groom the 5 % of students out of 1071 students for the participation in
various competitions conducted in State Level and National Level
competition.
3. Promote the reading habits of the students in general and the
grooming of 20 % students as the active readers.
4. 20 % of improvement from the baseline in the formative and
summative assessment.
5. Development of writing and reading skills of the students in English. 80
% of students achieve minimum level of proficiency in English
Language. A proficiency test will be designed and will be conducted
twice in a year to evaluate the performance of the students.
Proficiency test will be designed by the Language experts.

Long Term Objectives :1. Exploring and acting on issues and questions that link their
science learning to their daily living.
2. Helping the students to score well in Science and taking up
higher studies in science subjects.
3. Creating Environmental Awareness in them so that they
become an active agent in preserving the rich bio diversity
of the state.
4. Creating Scientific Awareness to help them lead a rational
life.

Short Term Objectives:1. 10 % of overall improvement from the baseline in Class


average of Science in Class VI to VIII in the schools.
2. Improvement of General Awareness in 80 % of the total
students of the schools in Kimin Circle in science related
topics. Formal test will be conducted. Question paper will be
prepared by selected teachers of VKVs
3. 10 % increase of marks in Summative and formative
assessment from the previous class.
4. 80 % of the students score more than 60 % in the practical
skill based assessment.

Long Term Objectives :-

Short Term Objectives :-

1.

Bringing Positive changes in overall behavioral pattern of the 90 % of the students. It will be evaluated
based on the questionnaire supplied to teachers and some selected parents after the interval of six
month.
a. Discipline.
b. Dress code.
c. Taking care of the school property.
d. Up keeping of the classrooms and school premises.

Ensuring 90 % attendance of the students in the service activities planned .

3.

Appreciate the uniqueness of the country through learning 10 Patriotic songs taught.

Ensuring 80 % of the students are well versed with the life and messages of the National Leaders.
Swami Vivekananda, Tilak, Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagawant Singh, Sardar Vallabai
Patel, Rani Lakshmi Bhai, S.Radhakrishnan, Abdul Kalam, Shivaji etc ( The focus will be Ancient, Middle
and Modern leaders) . End of the year there would be an objective test designed for different grades to
know the standard. 80 % of the students to get 50% in the objective test.

Ensuring 80% of the students understand negative impact of peer pressure and undesired effect of
substance use. A survey will be conducted at the end of the term to know the impact of the
programme.

Short Term Objectives
1. Resource Centre would be nodal Centre for Vivek Kiran
Project.
2. Lending Materials to the 250 Volunteers annually who
are going to be the part of the Vivek Kiran Project.
3. Lending books and materials to 300 interested students
to supplement the learning.
4. Providing facility for information search for interested
students & Teachers. 200 Students and 50 Teachers to
avail the facility annually.
5. Groom the 5 teachers from VKV- Sher as the Resource
Persons to facilitate learning and effective function of
the Centre.

2. Setting up of a central Library. Teachers and students would be
encouraged to borrow books from the Library for a stipulated time.
3. Audio- Visual Equipment. The volunteers for the project can make
use of the Audio- Visual equipment of the Resource Centre.

4. Becoming the Nodal Centre for all the activities of Project.


5. Setting up of a composite Science Laboratory. The Teachers can
borrow the items for conducting certain experiment in their
concerned schools. Interested students can conduct experiments at
the center.
6. Conducting demonstration classes at the various intervals for the
different target groups.
