Programme structure
The programme can be taken as an MSc,
postgraduate diploma or postgraduate
certificate either full or part-time. The
programme offers an exciting blend of
different learning and assessment methods.
You will complete two compulsory courses:
Research Methods in Nursing and
Health Care
Professional and Personal Development.
Course options include:
Clinical Decision Making and
Professional Judgement
Leadership: Exploring Your Potential
Global Public Health
Clinical Education
Evidence Based Care
Telecare
Contemporary Issues in Integration and
Service Improvement.

Our programme meets with the needs


outlined in the recent Post-registration
Career Development Framework (2012).
This programme creates future nurse
leaders, strengthens your skills to meet
clinical needs in your particular area,
supports nurses to deliver effective
evidence based, person-centre care,
builds research capacity and capability.
It also enhances international
collaborations and develops a global
network of leading nurses.
