WORK EXPERIENCE

Worked as a Project Fellow in UGC Sponsored Project entitled Spatial and temporal
fluctuations of benthic prey and its influence on shore bird population dynamics in the
salt pans of East Coast of Tamil Nadu, Southern India. From September 2012 to
September 2013.

Working as Senior research fellow

in RKVY project entitled Development of

Management Strategies for Rhesus Macaque and Bonnet Macaque to minimize crop
losses at Central and Northern Telangana Zones of Andhra Pradesh From October 2013

I have presented a research paper entitled Birds of wetlands and their conservation in
Telangana State. In the second international conference on Bio-Resource and Stress
Management. Held at Professor Jayashankar Telangana state Agricultural university,
Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, during 7-10th January 2015.

WORKSHOPS AND SEMINAR ATTENDED


Attended workshop on Molecular Biological Tools and Techniques organized by the
Research and Developmental Cell, AVC College (Autonomous), during 29th January
2011.
Participated in UGC sponsored national seminar on Conservation of Natural Resources
held on 16th and 17th March 2012 at A.V.C .College (Autonomous)
Attended one day workshop on TAXIDERMY and PRESERVATION techniques of
animal, at Government Museum, Chennai, during September 2011.

SPECIAL TRAININGS
Participated in the Annual Bird Census at Point Calimere Wildlife and bird Sanctuary,
during January, 2011 organized by Tamil Nadu Forest Department, Nagapattinam.
Visited Arignar Anna Zoological Park, Chennai, for getting training on the observation
of captive animals, management and feeding regimes, immobilization, transponder
fixing and postmortem, during October 2010 and September 2011.
Visited Chennai Snake Park, Chennai for observing captive reptiles, management and
feeding regimes and to learn cage requirements for reptiles during October 2010 and
September 2011.
Attended GIS training workshop conducted in the Department of Zoology A.V.C
College during September 2012.

Visited Crocodile Bank, Chennai, for getting training on the observation of captive
reptiles, identification, venom extraction and marking techniques during October 2010.
Participated in the annual tiger census in Kamareddy forest division organized by

Andhra Pradesh Forest Department.
