John Synge John Millington Synge was born in 1871. He was an Irish poet and dramatist.
Synge was an important figure in the Irish literary renaissance. As a young man he studied

compatriot William Yeats, who persuaded him to live for a while in the Aran Islands and then
return to Dublin and devote himself to creative work. All of Synge's plays reflect his experiences

Eric Blair Eric Arthur Blair,better known as George Orwell was born in 1903. He is a British
novelist and essayist. Orwell is best remembered for his satirical and political novels. After
attending Eton College, he traveled to India in 1927 where he served with the Indian imperial
police in Burma. He returned to Europe in 1927. In 1936 he fought with the Republicans in the
Spanish civil. Orwell was a critic of imperialism, fascism, Stalinism, and capitalism. His works

Edward Forster Edward Morgan Forster was born in1879. He was an English author and one
of the most important British novelists of the 20th century. After graduating from Cambridge
college, Forster lived in Greece and Italy. During World War I he joined the International Red
Cross in Egypt where he served. In 1946, Forster became an honorary fellow of King's College,
Cambridge, where he lived until his death in 1970. He received the Order of Merit in 1968. Edward
Edward Morgan Forster Forster naci in1879. l era un autor Ingls y uno de los ms importantes novelistas
britnicos del siglo 20. Despus de graduarse de la universidad de Cambridge, Forster vivi en Grecia e Italia.
