Grand Story
Creation - Psalm 8:3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the

Redemption
Salvation - Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that
is in Christ Jesus:
Restoration - 2 Cor 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse
ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
Eternity - John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth
on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed
from death unto life.
Conflict Theory
Our sinful desires. Romans 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law
of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Where jealously and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder. These come from the devil.
Peace between people will lead to righteousness. Peace comes from placing all your trust in
Christ.
In A Christian Worldview, conflict is no longer inevitable, Christians are no longer driven by pride
and selfishness, so they may act in peace and altruism, which can prevent conflict and disorder.
Thus, while conflict between unsaved people may be common, Christians no longer need to be
driven by greed to dispute.
Structure Functionalism
Family- Differences between leadership roles in household between men and woman. Eph 5:2328 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is
the saviour of the body. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his
wife loveth himself., Prov 31: 8 Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are
appointed to destruction.
Church - Differences between spiritual gifts in the church that lead to a whole body when
used correctly. 1 Cor 12:1-16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the
body; is it therefore not of the body?, Romans 12:4 For as we have many members in one body,
and all members have not the same office:
Government - Subjection to leadership roles in our government. Luke 20:25 And he said unto
them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things
which be God's., Proverbs 24:21-22 My son, fear thou the Lord and the king: and meddle not

with them that are given to change: For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the
ruin of them both?
