Users used their own local, offline, nonintegrated tools with high TCO and high effort for
data reconciliation.

SAP Business Objects Planning and

Consolidation and BW-IP provide all functionalities
we need for Corporate and de-centralized
planning needs. Both can be used in one system
and can be closely integrated. This was the
perfect solution for us.

Objectives
For SAPs future financial planning we want to
achieve a planning environment which is meeting
both corporate and LoBs demand, an
environment which is flexible, stable, reliable,
scalable and efficient at the same time.
In this context we are implementing an
integrated Scenario of BW Integrated Planning
and SAP BusinessObjects Planning and
Consolidation that will run on HANA.

BPC 10 NW running on BW 7.3 HANA

Corporate and De-Central Planning processes
covered with both BPC 10 NW and BW-IP in an
integrated way.
A scalable satellite concept for several decentral planning engines in BPC NW still being
compatible to a corporate planning environment
using BW-IP (e.g. in regards to Master and
Transaction Data)
Those satellites provide a high grade of freedom
to the de-central stakeholders combined with predefined features and functions to ensure a fast
implementation of new satellites
All mentioned functionality was implemented
within one BI system to have full integration.
