1. What are some of the benefits that redbirds might enjoy from another round
of seminars?
Some of the benefits that Redbird might enjoy from another round
of seminars are: first is that, Redbird had done little if any
management education before Bill had joined the company were a
great deal of excitement surrounded the seminar, second is Redbird
was strictly functionally organized and lastly, Redbirds many
cultures from its worldwide operations were represented in the
seminar room.

How would you structure this seminars to maximize benefits of better


communication?
In these seminars, it is better to maximize the benefit of better
communication through the top level management down to the low
level management.

3. What would bill McGee tell the executive committee? How should she
address the inevitable question of costs and benefits.
Bill McGee should tell the Executive Committee that they will buy
the fact that the expensive seminar led the organization to better
communication. He should address the inevitable questions of costs
and benefits through better communication with the members of
the organization.

1. What are the main differences in leadership style between David Lieder man
and Debbi Fields?
The main differences in leadership style between David Lieder man
and Debbi Fields are autocratic and democratic. For David Lieder
man is autocratic style because he makes decisions without
reference anyone else while Debbi Fields is democratic which she
doesnt make any business decisions but she is a nice and a good
looking blonde.
2. What is the relationship between leadership style and organizational structure
in the two companies?
The relationship between leadership style and organizational
structure in the companies is that they go together just for the
successful of company projects. They are as one in order to the
company grown up and be more effective.

3. How are employees motivated in Ledermans company? In fields


Employees are motivated in Lieder mans company through
supervising them as closely as possible. For Fields is through is
supporting system which the employees gets proper support.

4. How are interpersonal and organizational communication handled in each


company
Interpersonal and organizational communications handled in each
company by overcoming barriers and understanding each other
regardless of their difference in departments, job functions and
personal opinions. The leader of each company must take measures
immediately to curb any conflict and train its members until they
will have an improved set of interpersonal communication skills.
5. Is Debbie fields really the leader of her company? Does lieder man face threats
to this business that fields does not? Why?
No, because Debbis husband is the one who run Mrs. Fields
Cookies and her role is to make people feel important and to create
an opportunity for them.

No, because he cant understand the feelings of the people which


Debbi Fields feels. Yet everything links to be made to feel special
and important.
6. In your opinion which company will ultimately be successful?
For me the company of Mrs. Fields ultimately be successful because
she make great cookies, really good at dealing with people, very productive and
she have surrounded with superstars.
