Executive Summary
Communication is the activity of conveying information among the exchange of ideas,
feelings, forces, concepts, aspirations, impressions or orders as by speech, non-oral gestures,
writings and behavior. It is the meaningful exchange of information between two or more
people. Communication requires, a sender, a message, a media and a receiver; so
communication can occur across giant distances in the time and space. The communication
process is complete once the receiver understands the senders message.
Communicating with others connect, three primary steps.

Thought: First, information exists in the mind of the sender. This can be a concept,
idea, information, or feeling.

Encoding: Next, a message is sent to a receiver in words or other symbols.

Decoding: Lastly, the receiver translates the words or symbols into a concept or
information that a person can understand

There are a two category of verbal and non-verbal appearance of communication. These
include body language, eye contact and another examples are media inclusion such as
pictures, graphics, sound, and writing.

Introduction
Humans are the only creatures on earth applicable by verbal communication. With every
interaction we communicating with other people. Communication means convert of ideas,
views, opinion, understanding, feelings, emotions, facts or information between two or more
persons by any sources or medium.
Communication is important to business and it needs good
communicators. But most people don`t communicate well. By improving our communication
cleverness, we improve our chances for success. Communication is essential to every part of
business. It is important to our basic understanding of business communication to know how
communication between occurs.
Communication takes many parts like as oral, written and computer.

1. Importance of communication
I think, the signification of communication is about awakening the worth of
breathing! Because communication means exchange the ideas or sense. Exchange is essential.
From the moment we wake up in the morning and we go to bed, we have to communicate.
We communicate with our life partners, our family, our neighbors, our friends. At work, we
communicate with our business partners, our employees, our colleagues, our boss, our
abutters and our suppliers.

We communicate for:

Explicate visions, aims and financial plans to directors and supervisors and other
employees.

Explicate operational structure, work ethics, rules and principles, gratuity.

Writing financial reports for directors and shareholders.

Preparing tax returns.

We communicate speech and writing but those are not the only ways of our communication.

of communications clearly denote the importance of communication in our lives.

2. The communication process

Communication is a miscellaneous process, and it is difficult to decide where or with whom a


communication contact starts and ends.
But these models of communication disapprove, they contain some common parts. The first
two models are, the Transmission model and the Interaction model, include participants,
messages, encoding, decoding, and channels.

Transmission Model of Communication

The transmission model of communication point out, communication about a straight, oneway process in which a sender studied transmits a message to a receiver

Interaction Model of Communication


The interaction model of communication point out, communication about a process in which
participants reciprocate attitude as sender and receiver, create meaning by sending messages
and receiving feedback within physical and psychological contexts.

3. Communication skills
Being oral to communicate effectively is the most important of all life skills.
Communication is involuntarily the activity of transferring information from one
place to another, although this be vocally such as using voice, written like as using
printed or digital media such as books, magazines, websites or emails, visually using
logos, maps, charts or graphs or non-verbally using body language, gestures and the
tone and pitch of voice.
Interpersonal Communication Skills
Interpersonal Skills are the skills we use when occupied in face-to-face
communication with two or more other people. Verily we communicate extra
information using non-oral signals, gestures, facial expression, body language even
our appearance. Essential interpersonal communication skill is like, listening.

4. Types of communication

There are variety of types of communication.


Types of communication based on the communication channels used are:
1) Verbal Communication
2) Nonverbal Communication

A. Verbal Communication
Verbal communication refers to the information is transmitted verbally like as word of mouth.
Aim of every communication is to have people understand what we are trying to say them.

Oral Communication
In oral communication, Spoken words are used. It includes face-to-face dialogs, speech,
video, radio, television, voice etc. In oral communication, communication is influence by
volume, speed and simplicity of speaking.

Written Communication
In written communication, written symbols is used to communicate. A written message may
be printed or hand written. In written communication message can be transmitted via email,
letter, report etc. Written Communication is most common form of communication being
used in business.

B. Nonverbal Communication

Nonverbal communication is the sending or receiving of wordless messages. Gesture, body


language, posture, tone of voice or facial expressions, is called nonverbal communication.
Nonverbal communication is all about the body language of speaker.
Nonverbal communication have the following three elements:
a. Appearance
Speaker: clothing, hairstyle, neatness
Surrounding: room size, lighting, decorations
b. Body Language
facial expressions, gestures, postures
c. Sounds
Voice Tone, Volume, Speech rate

5. Barriers of communication
There are many reasons communications is fail.

We are human being and we want communicate with other people always. Communication is
essential for our life because we want exchange ideas still. We cannot exchange our ideas or
feelings, we cannot live carefully.

business environment. Good communication and consultation can be success by any
business. But we want success our business, we following basic requirements like these,
