THE RAT PACK IS BACK! Kicks Off


Society for the Performing Arts 2015-2016 Season!
HOUSTON (8/18/2015) Society for the Performing Arts will celebrate its 2015-2016
opening night with THE RAT PACK IS BACK! Friday, Sept. 18, at 8 p.m., in Jones
Hall.
Witness the beginnings of stardom as four unlikely entertainers bring their talents
together to create one of the most influential shows in Las Vegas history. THE RAT
PACK IS BACK! pays tribute to the talented stars of the 1960s: Frank Sinatra, Sammy
Davis Jr., Joey Bishop and Dean Martin. Audience members will travel back through time
to an era when shows on the Strip featured only live music and entertainers who really
knew how to work the crowd. Known as The Rat Pack, this swingin, ring-a-ding
group made history through their style, humor and special role in postwar America.
THE RAT PACK IS BACK! unites four of the countrys most accomplished
singer/actors: Tom Walleck (Appearing as Joey Bishop); Drew Anthony (Appearing as
Dean Martin); Kenny Jones (Appearing as Sammy Davis Jr.) and Brian Duprey
(Appearing as Frank Sinatra).
Produced by Dick Feeney, THE RAT PACK IS BACK! features uncanny vocal
recreations, unbridled humor and a hot, live 12-piece orchestra. Hits include Thats
Amore, My Way, Mr. Bojangles and many more. Enjoy this award-winning
performance of comedy and music, all while feeling as if you were whisked away to the
coolest time in history.
Tickets for THE RAT PACK IS BACK! range from $33-$78 and can be purchased online
at www.spahouston.org, by phone at 713-227-4SPA or at the courtyard level ticket office
at Jones Hall located at 615 Louisiana St. Hours of operation: 9 a.m.5 p.m. Monday
Friday. For groups of 15 or more call 713-632-8113. Prices are subject to change.
