Good morning!

My name is Andreea Ifrim and, as Ovidiu has mentioned before, I am the finance manager of
YWF. I have assumed leadership of this departament in 2013 when we started this bussiness and it has been a
wonderful experience as I had the chance to meet and colaborate with amazing people. I work in a highly
competitive enviroment and every day is a new challenge, but with a great team by my side, I have managed to
overcome every obstacle encountered so far and accomplish all of my goals.
As you probably already know, Financial considerations are at the root of all major business decisions.
Therefore, my role is a complex one, requiring both an understanding of how the business functions as a whole
and specialized financial knowledge. As a financial manager I am responsible to oversee the management and
coordination of all fiscal activities of the company, which can be very difficult at times.This includes:

providing and interpreting financial information;

monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends;

supervising staff
and ofc, managing budgets. Clear budgetary planning is essential for both the short and long term and I have to
Ensure adequate cash flow to meet the company's needs
I am also responsible for figuring out the financial projections for our business which is a very delicate mission.
The development of a new product, for example, requires an investment of capital over time and I have to
determine how much the product is expected to cost and how much revenue it is expected to earn so that we can
invest the appropriate amount in the product. We use data analyses and educated guesses to approximate the
value, we can never be 100% sure of the future cash flows.
However, as I have said before, I work with an amazing team that makes my duties easier. The financial
department has two departamental heads, responsible for employees accounts and financial servicies such as
internal audit and financial planning. They both report directly to me and are in charge of 4 and 15 people. In
addition, we have a legal officer who is in charge of all legal matters.

Regarding my professional development, I have come a long way so far by learning a lot about financial
considerations and how to apply them. An important part of my expertise has been acquired through the
learning-on-the-job system, but I have also developed some major soft skills through our great variaty of
trainings which are periodacally held by the hr departament. So, I would like to take this opportunity to thank
Alexandra, the manager of this depart for taking care of the professional development of our staff. I will now
