Introduction
We know how important it is to breastfeed a newborn. In this work we see
the favorable and unfavorable points breastfeeding mothers so they have to
go if you want a healthy child.
We have often heard the campaigns that makes the Ministry of Health, for
mothers to breastfeed their children, that thereby they could prevent many
illnesses and diseases that may afflict their minor children. But many
mothers put many excuses not to give such feeding, as it will spoil your body,
or have no milk to give, and that is false because it does not happen neither
the one nor the other.
We can also appreciate campaigns for mothers to breastfeed their children
around the world which are run by the WHO, which indicates that breast
feeding is a natural event such as three or four months and not enough , so
that millions of children die and as many become malnourished and do not
develop normally.
Therefore our message would be that every mother should breastfeed at
least six months to have a strong and healthy child.
Objective: To inform mothers about the importance of breastfeeding.

The ideal for the newborn food is milk from his mother. In most cases, the milk supply
becomes sufficient if suction is continued, even in cases which at first seems insufficient.
Breastfeeding also has a beneficial effect on the invocation of the uterus, since repeated
stimulation of the teats leads by oxytocin release from the neurohypophysis, a stimulation
of the myometrium.
Most drugs given to the mother are secreted in milk. These drugs include antibiotics,
sulfonamides, most alkaloids, salicylates, bromides, quinine, alcohol, and several cathartics,
absorbed by the intestinal tract of the mother. The concentration of drug in the milk is
not usually harmful to the child, unless higher doses are administered therapy or continues
for a long time. It has recently caused concern the content of the pesticide DDT in human
and bovine milk.
b) vital instinctive act by which a mother loves her newborn with milk produced by their
mothers drink.
It is difficult to understand how the physiological process of breastfeeding could be
displaced and distorted by "modern" practices that sought to "preserve" the beauty of the
breast and allow to rest for the mother, attitudes were encouraged pro-producing
commercial firms formula through massive propaganda and multiple gifts to new mothers
at hospitals and maternal health staff - children.
COMPOSITION BREASTFEEDING
The composition of breast milk, which contains all the proteins, fats, vitamins and other
essential items for infant feeding and remains an important source of nutrients until at
least two years.
The reasons why breast milk protects children against infections.
The various changes undergone breast milk and its positive impact on the health and
nutrition of children.
The arguments by which it is shown that artificial feeding generates many problems in the
newborn.
The economic advantages of breastfeeding compared to other foods.
Breast milk contains all the nutrients essential for feeding the child; It also has elements
that protect against infection. Artificial feeding may be the source of many problems for
both the child and the family

Essentially putting economic interests, modern industry has managed to foster a culture of
food prestigious, within which is assigned a value greater some components of the diet
than others, to charge more for them. Within this trend, it is intended to make people
believe that breast milk can be replaced or imitate other.
It is not possible to compare the milk of an animal species to another if, as a result of this
analysis is to give a higher absolute value component or another.
What matters is not the absolute amount of protein, fat, vitamins or have a milk or
another, but the proportion in which they are found in milk. This proportion must be
balanced and must respond to the needs that are different organs and body functions.
These needs vary from one child to another, from one age of the child to a different age,
a time of day to another and from one time to another blowjob.
Do not forget that, in general, each child only receives milk from her own mother, which is
fully adapted to their age and needs and that cow's milk (or jar) are milked milk from many
cows they are nursing calves of different ages and are milked at different times of the
day.
If one takes into account everything discussed so far breast milk is always in perfect
hygienic conditions at the ideal temperature, and the baby can eat even if you are ill,
pregnant or menstruating, you get then reject some generalizations and look more
critically some comparative tables breast milk compared with other milks.
CHANGES IN MILK COMPOSITION .Breast milk does not always have the same composition, but varies:
Depending on the age of the breastfed child may be mature colostrum or milk.
If milk is the beginning of a feed or the end of it.
If the child is a premature baby or a child to term.
a) Colostrum and milk madura. The secretion of breasts during the first days after delivery is yellow and thicker than
mature milk and contains more antibodies and white blood cells, which are at a very high
composition.
This is exactly what the child needs right now, as birth is to be found surrounded by many
viruses and bacteria against which needs to be protected. The volume of colostrum
produced by the mother is very small, but the child needs more. Normally, newborn comes
with enough food and cash reserves so you can expect all the time later in lower milk,
except some children at risk.

Throughout the weeks following childbirth, the amount of milk the mother produces, and
the appearance and composition of this change. It becomes thinner and begins to look
bluish and watery. Despite its appearance, the mature milk contains all the nutrients the
child needs to grow during the first four to six months without receiving anything more.
These nutrients are of excellent quality and in sufficient quantity, so that the child will
continue to receive, along with complementary foods, for a long time; hopefully up to two
years of life and over a longer period, if the mother and the child they wish.
Some mothers, when comparing mature milk with cow's milk and see thinner, believe that
their milk does not suffice them their babies and begin to give supplements. The best way
to convince them is making their babies are weighed regularly, ideally by themselves, so
that they realize how quickly and how healthy your child is growing.
MILK THE BEGINNING AND END OF A FEED.
Foremilk is coming out when the child begins to suckle. It has a watery appearance and is
bluish color. As has plenty of water, it quenches the thirst of the child; both; It is also
rich in protein, vitamins, minerals and lactose.
Hindmilk a feed is whiter than the first, because it has more fat. This fat does, hindmilk, a
liquid rich in energy, needed for the child to be satisfied and successfully increase weight.
If you withdraw the child from the breast too soon, it will not get hindmilk and not grow
properly.
If a child is changed very quickly from one breast to another, without having obtained milk
from the end, but only the Foremilk, excess lactose received can cause intolerance to it,
which in some cases may be responsible for the evening that some babies have colic by
three months of age.
Furthermore, its higher fat content, milk end is rich in soluble A, D, E, vitamin K.

MILK PREMATURE BABY'S MOTHER AND THE CHILD TO TERMINO.The milk of the mother of a premature baby, compared to the milk of a child to term,
contains the largest number of defenses to fight infections, especially against those
potentially fatal to premature newborn, as necrotizing enterocolitis and meningitis

neonatal. The content of protein, sodium, chloride and iron is higher in the milk of the
mother of a premature baby as it's needed, in the milk of a mother with a child
term. For this reason, it is highly recommended to give only breast milk to premature.
Amount and composition of breast milk: a review of the Publications.Quantity or volume of milk materna.a) Method for measuring the amount or volume of milk materna. The methods typically used for measuring the amount or volume of breast milk can be
divided into two categories:
Measuring the secretory capacity of the breast, that is, the ability of milk secretion of
the mother.
The measure the amount of milk ingested by the infant.
As ingestion of breast milk for the child influence both the secretory capacity of the
mother and the suction capacity and appetite of the infant, it is expected that estimates
of child ingestion is less than the capacity of lactation Mother. In addition, the
determination of the amount of milk usually interferes with the normal interaction
between the mother and the little boy and family life, which may have a negative effect on
the reflection of the "rise of milk" and cause decreased milk production. The impact on
the volume will depend on the method used and, in many cases, the ability of the person
performing the measurements. For the purposes of this study, quantity, volume, production
or performance of breast milk will refer to ingestion by the infant, the secretory capacity
of the mother or both at once.
MEASURING BREAST MILK INTAKE BY NIO.The method most frequently used to measure breast milk intake by the infant is "tetada
test" or determining the weight of the feedings. The amount of breast milk ingested by
the child subtracting the weight before sucking his weight is calculated afterwards. When
given the breast overnight, care must be taken to control their weight also during the
night as if daily quantities are calculated on the basis of determinations made only part of
the day, the result is not accurate enough . Short weight and sucking be so small that
cause unacceptable errors in the assessment of the amount of ingested milk.
The ingestion of milk for the child has also been calculated from the weight of the mother
before and after breastfeeding the child. However, it is more difficult to accurately
measure small changes in maternal weight changes analogous to measure the test feedings
in infants.

A recent method for measuring milk intake by the infant is based on the enrichment of
heavy saliva (deuterium oxide) A water creature is administered by mouth an accurately
determined quantity of heavy water and measured the concentration of heavy water in
saliva before and 24 hours later. The difference between the two values indicates the
variation of total body water for 24 hours, and can measure breast milk intake if relevant
to the ingestion of any liquid adjustments. The advantage of this method is that it does
not interfere with infant feeding habits and customs of the mother and child. Also it has
the advantage of giving the average daily intake for several days (usually 11 to 14 days),
while the feedings measurements are commonly performed test for a period of one day.
However, the first results obtained with this method seem to provide somewhat higher
figures ingestion of breast milk than those obtained with the method of the test feedings.
You can also measure the intake of human milk with a flow meter connected to a liner
through which the baby suckles the breast of the mother. In this way, information is
obtained about the flow of milk and its modalities, which allows to calculate the amount of
milk ingested by the infant. You can also use this method to determine the composition of
milk at any time during the blowjob, allowing continuous sampling. Little is known about the
comparability of results obtained by this method with those obtained by other methods.
It is likely that the presence of the liner affects the I nfant sucking desire.
