1. The applications should be as per the prescribed format.
2. Candidates will forward application properly sealed in an envelope through ordinary post duly s
Application for the post of ____________ on the top of envelope while sending the application form.
3. Separate application is required for each post.
4. The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of application.
5. Relaxation of age is admissible as per Govt. of India Rules.
6. Selection shall be by competitive test & interview
7. No TA/DA will be admissible for Test/Interview. Candidates will make their own arrangements for
bo the duration of test / interview.
8. Selection will be subject to Medical Fitness and verification of character and antecedents from civil
auth
9. Candidates after selection will be subject to All India service liability.
10. Date, Time and place of test / interview will be intimated by post separately to the eligible candidate
found in order.
11. Candidates will forward self-attested copies of certificates in support of age, educational qualific
caste/community certificate for SC/ST candidates and OBC caste certificate indicating non-creamy
candidates.
12. Department will not be responsible for any postal delay/wrong delivery.
13. Incomplete/incorrect/without signature applications will be rejected without any notice.
14. The recruitment process can be cancelled/suspended/terminated without assigning any reason. The
de will be final and no appeal will be entertained.
15. Canvassing in any form shall disqualify the candidate. No enquiry or correspondence will be
entertained
16. Applications from employees working in Central/State Govt. Departments / Public Sector Undertaki
research agencies must be forwarded through proper channel. Advance copies of application will be

17. While applying for the above post, the applicant must ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility and

20. Since it is not possible to call all the eligible candidates for the test/interview, the applicants may b
purpose. The decision of the Director, NIRT will be final in this regard.

respects and signed by the applicant should be sent to the Office of The Director, National Insti
Tuberculosis, No.1, Mayor Sathyamoorthy Road, Chetpet, Chennai 600 031 on or before 11/1

23. Any legal proceedings in respect of any matter of claim or dispute arising out of this adve
application in response thereto can be instituted only in Chennai and the courts/tribunals/Forums
have the sole and exclusive jurisdiction.
