Greetings from Australia! I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to let you know of an upcoming opportunity that I have to serve Christs church in Japan.
The Reformed Presbyterian Church in Australia (RPCA), of which my family are members, has
sister churches of the same lineage dotted around the globe. One such church is the Japan
Reformed Presbyterian Church (RPCJ). The RPCA and RPCJ have a lot on common: we are
relatively close, being in the Asia Pacific region, both of our countries are secular and being a
Christian can be lonely, both of our churches are localised to specific cities: Kobe, Japan and
Melbourne, Australia, and both of our churches are small, with under three hundred members
in the whole of our respective countries. For these reasons and many more we are seeking to
develop bonds of Christian fellowship with the RPCJ to build each other up in mutual support

With these things on our hearts and minds, a team of leaders who are members of the RPCA
have been working very hard for the past 2 years to organise a trip from Australia to Kobe,
Japan. This dream is now becoming a reality as we have formally organised a trip with the
RPCJ for December 2015.
I ask that you remember this trip in prayer. We will be sending a team of 9 members ranging
from teenagers to a brother in his 70s! I will be leading the trip, so you can pray especially for
this added responsibility of looking after a bunch of Aussies in a foreign country. Pray that we
