The history of the GIVI brand started thirty years ago when Giuseppe Visenzi,
a former World Championship rider, turned his passion and dedication to the
production of motorcycle accessories.
At first just engine-guards, then carriers, followed by suitcases to match the
carriers... The products and concepts which were developed in the 70s were
so successful that they became, year after year, the sectors benchmark in
Europe.
The brands history has been written with the infinite passion of one who loves,
knows and respects motorcycling to the point of being part of it. Its that special
attitude that leaves a mark, an energy which is able to renew itself day after day
only if its alive, the determination to improve constantly, to listen to everyones
needs - from the individual rider to the large commercial partner. It is also the
history of an idea of quality which allowed a small workshop in Brescia to grow
to its present size and worldwide reputation. More than 100 staff work in facilities
in Italy, Europe and America. With the same single-minded determination as the
first day.

A journey, which has required my familys and my full dedication from

the very beginning, but at the same time given us many satisfactions.
When I started this project in 1978, my determination was strong.
At that time I assumed that my intuition would find a place within the
motorcycle industry, but I could not have ever imagined that I would
have achieved todays results.
Today GIVI is recognised as a leading brand worldwide and this has
gone beyond what were my expectations.
A Clear sign of this is that in the last 30 years we have done our work
correctly.
Over this time we have developed the right ideas, without stopping at
our first success, but always looking forward and by maintaining the
same commitment and determination of the first day.
We dont consider the achievement obtained in our first 30 years as a
point of arrival, but merely a stage that allows us to gain expertise in
our field that not many others can boast.
From our mistakes we gained experience, and we have learned not to
be influenced by the fashion of the moment, but strive in developing
products which were and are ever green and are liked and
appreciated by the worldwide motorcycles fraternity.
GIVI today stands for high quality, reliability, technological innovation
and design.
GIVI is a company that grows gradually, a brand able to diversify its
production and at the same time maintain its leadership.
We are proud of this image and we will do our utmost to maintain our
spirit and company philosophies for the next thirty years.

Research and innovation have always represented for GIVI the best potential
for development. The staff in the new HPS Brescia R&D centre work with great
determination and a design philosophy aimed at re-establishing the balance
between concept and functionality, introducing advanced protection systems,
always bearing in mind the riders safety.
Lines are born of an in-depth knowledge of materials, which are shaped to interpret
GIVIs intrinsic concepts and knowhow. Composite techno-fibres, special technopolymers, complex moulds, high precision machines and moulding processes
have characterised this productive environment for years. The utmost attention
is devoted to materials and the precision in the direct control of HPS productive
processes is ensured by the brand which over the last thirty years has shared
with riders all over the world its total quality concept.

The specialists of the HPS R&D centre have analysed all road situations, in
any weather conditions and any type of impact on the helmet. GIVI has turned
the information into shapes, materials and technical solutions. The result is
peak performance and great balancing, comfort, and protection features. A
whole range of variables such as weight/resistance requirements, functionality,
reliability, and passing statutory approvals have to be reckoned with when a
project is developed with the bikers safety as the foremost issue...Forecasting,
testing, comparing, introducing new concepts of ergonomics and design. GIVIs
great technological skills translate today into a highly technological approach
in which preliminary modelling studies allow direct step-by-step assessment of
all constructive possibilities. Intelligence, determination, but especially a great
passion for motorcycling, meet the most advanced applications of CAD systems

du dpartement R&D HPS, videmment tous motards expriments, le font trs
souvent avec les personnes des autres dpartements. Tous anims par la mme
passion pour faire surgir de nouvelles ides, amliorer les produits existants
et faire partager leurs sentiments pour la gamme des casques.Qui nest pas
initialement intress par la moto, fini inexorablement par le devenir. Ce liant fort

The full-face - Top of GIVI range. Produced using high level materials and
technology, it represents the ideal choice for the sport tourer owner.
The tri-composite ber cap (ber-carbon-kevlar), is available in three different
colours. The smart inners, antiallergenic and light tan colour are totally removable
and washable.
It boasts a sophisticated ventilation system through three air inlets (positioned
one on the chin and two on the upper part) and two air extractors.
The closing chinstrap is tted with a double D at ring, complete to with strap
retainer. The anti-scratch transparent visor is available (as an optional) in smoked
version to 75%.
Standard with the helmet is a smoked sun visor, removable nose cover - which
prevents fogging caused by breathing by funneling it down, and the removable
wind protector, integrated in the chin guard.

INTERCHANGEABLE CHIN REST FOR PROTECTION AND COMFORT AT

THE TOP FOR SUMMER AND WINTER.
The X01 will change the mind of those who think that the motorcyclist helmet has
no more to offer from the conceptual point of view. With this project GIVI adds a
fresh and important turn to the current panorama offered by the mondial market.
In real terms this is an helmet unique of its kind, accessorized with two
interchangeable chin rests, one for summer being more ventilated, and the other
for winter with more protection, when xed to the helmet, they become one with
it. The X01 doesnt allow the helmet to open fully: a choice that has allowed GIVI
to homologate it as a full face helmet. The great comfort in being able to mount
a specic chin rest in accordance with climatic conditions renders the X01 an
innovative item, less complicated from a modular standard helmet components
point of view and consequently more light.
With regard to this we have to underline the advantage offered by the summer
version, which protects as a full face helmet but allows you to keep the advantage
of ventilation that a jet gives. Complete with summer and winter ventilations,
summer and winter chin rests, caps for jet version and anti-fog spray kit.

The X Modular represents a viable alternative to innovation XPLUS and meets the
demand of those who prefer classic solutions.
With this new product, denitely a winner in terms of price / performance, we have
adapted to the growing demand for modular helmets that comes from the market.
The helmet incorporates the best of its category. A concept that is reected in
many technical solutions, all combined in one product. We see some of the most
important.
Opening the chin rest with one hand, with middle button at the bottom; the recovery
of the visor when is opened individually.
Interior fully removable, xed with buttons, including the ap strap. Screen with a
specic hooks.
Removable visor and sun visors without using the tools thanks to the handy
bayonet system introduced by GIVI
The visor equipped with magnifying City-Fog adhesive lens (similar to pin-lock
used by the Moto GP riders) made specically for GIVI.
Ventilation ensured by a grip on the chin rest for misting, two sockets for the front
channel and a good classical internal extractor, at the rear to maintain constant

The X .07 born on the basis of the integral and separable X.01 and it show up,
compared to its predecessor, with an aesthetic more streamlined and clean,
new interior and a lower noise on road. This latter feature is achieved by special
shaping of the visor, which triggers turbulence under the chin, and its rotation
mechanism, which does not interfere with its cap and slides off the air. To arrive
at these results GIVI has tested over and over again the design of the screen
until reaching its present form.
New and more protective for the eyes is also the sun visor, this series. The interior,
is removable, with a prolongation in the cheeks for a better grip on the face, in the
interest of silence.
Weight X .07 is one of the best values of the class, whereas the cap of thermoplastic
material, the two peaks and the related mechanisms.
