ASSIGNMENT #1
List 10 DONTs (bad, unethical habits/behaviors/misconduct) in public in your point of view.
Then in 1 paragraph to present a solution for addressing the most critical one of the above
ten.
--------------oOo--------------10 bad, unethical habits/behaviors/misconduct in public in my point of view:
1. Stealing: take the property of another or others without legal right or permission,
especially secretly by force and have no intention of returning it.
2. Sexual harassment:the unwelcome or inappropriate promise of rewards in
exchange for sexual favors. Even in some modern legal contexts, sexual harassment
is illegal.
3. Releasing/dumping rubbish: the action of releasing or throwing the waste and
rubbish deliberately everywhere instead of putting it into the garbage bin.
4. Queue jumping: the act of entering a queue or line at any position other than the
end. The act, which may be taboo in some instances, stands in stark contrast to the
normal policy of first come, first served that governs most queue areas.
5. Bullying: the use of force, threat, or coercion to abuse, intimidate, or aggressively
dominate others. The behavior is often repeated and habitual and sometimes it aims
at disable or mentally retarded people.
6. Pickpocket:a form of larceny that involves the stealing of money or other valuables
from the person of a victim without their noticing the theft at the time. It requires
considerable dexterity and a knack for misdirection.
7. Smoking: a practice in which a substance is burned and the resulting smoke
breathed in to be tasted or inhaled.
8. Racial discrimination: the prejudice and discrimination based in social perceptions
of biological differences between peoples, presumed shared inheritable traits,
abilities, or qualities. It may also hold that members of different races should be
treated differently.
9. Talking loudly in public places (cinema, hospital,): the act of making noise and
causing annoyed feeling for others by talking too loudly in some public areas.
10. Gathering/squatting on pavement: the act of gathering people or yourselves on
pavement, which causes messy condition for other activities and pedestrian.

Present a solution for addressing the most critical issue of the above ten.
To some extent, racial discrimination between people of different cultures and nationalities is a
critical phenomenon and one that is bound to affect everyone at some point of time.Just like
the saying that blood is thicker than water holds great value when it comes to family ties,
similar connotations can be drawn for people belonging to a particular race. The problem lies in
the way the matter is dealt. Its not about expecting people to like every race, its about
creating a sense of oneness amongst all. I do believe that there is definitely a way to solve
racism, but it is quite hard to achieve in the short time. As everyone can see, racism was so
serious in the past compare to the current society which means our society is improving and
racism is mitigating. How we are going to solve this issue? As long as more people continue to
strongly speak up that every race is equal in this world, we will finally achieve our
destination.Everyone brings the reason to exist to this world. Even though one is not good at
something that other races can do, it doesnt mean other races are better that ones race. In
each race has someone who is not good at something but it has no connection to someones
race because everyone is created equal become a human. If someone doesnt behave properly,
people are allowed to tell them that what is wrong but not to prejudice someones race, which
means stand against someones personal behavior instead of someones race. The purpose to
talk about all these things is hoping that once a day, there will be no racial discrimination occurs
in the world and telling those who have treated by racist that no need to be upset of these
things, because what most of the people in our world care is what kind of abilities can you show
up and what do you have in your brain no matter what race you are. A proper community, we
should remember also, is a commonwealth: a place, a resource, and an economy. It answers
the needs, practical as well as social and spiritual, of its members - among them the need to
need one another.
